tells 'Entertainment Tonight' she didn't really know any "Hilary" types
growing up, but she "sort of figured she was like any other popular girl
in high school, but instead of being obsessed with boys or shopping ...
she was obsessed with Jesus!" She also revealed working with the cast was
a blast -- especially Macaulay Culkin! "I loved Mac," Moore said. "I don't

May 31, 2004 - Roger Ebert
of The Chicago Sun-Times reviewed Mandy Moore's new movie 'Saved!', giving
it 3 1/2 stars. Ebert writes, "'Saved!' is an important film as well as
an entertaining one. At a time when the FCC is enforcing a censorious morality
on a nation where 8.5 million listeners a day are manifestly not offended
by Howard Stern, here is a movie with a political message: Jesus counseled
more acceptance and tolerance than some of his followers think. By the
end of the movie, mainstream Christian values have not been overthrown,
but demonstrated and embraced." Read more.
