19, 2004 - Mandy Moore tells fans on her official forum that she loves
the beach when she's at home in California. "When I'm home (in California),
nothing makes my day more than driving to the beach alone," Moore wrote
on Monday (July 12). "I put the top down on my car and shamelessly sing
along to my favorite songs. it kinda rejuvenates me." Read more.
July 19, 2004 - Mandy Moore
addressed working with Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows on her official
website's forum. Moore told fans on Monday: "Adam is one of my favorite
people. I had the pleasure of attending a [Counting Crows] show a few weeks
ago and they blew me away. I was like... 'That's my friend. He's an amazing
performer.... very cool.' We met through a mutual friend, Mary Louise,
while she and I were filming 'Romance and Cigarettes'. I guess he had heard
'Coverage' and really liked it and somehow we ended up writing some kick-ass
music together. It's all very exciting... hopefully some of it will end
up on the finished album. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated."

Enquirer reports that Mandy Moore was spotted at Seattle's gay disco hotspot
Neighbours, where she ended up in the unisex bathroom with a drag queen,
applying rouge to his well-shaved cheeks and trading makeup tips. "I absolutely
love men who have a feminine side," Mandy told the cross-dresser.

news that her family dog Oliver died. Mandy also talked about writing new
