September 20, 2005 - Us Weekly
reports that Mandy Moore enjoyed a day out with boyfriend Zach Braff on
September 10th in Los Angeles. Moore first visited Bungalow salon where
the singer/actress had hair extensions put in, and afterwards she joined
Braff at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. "They looked like a really comfortable
couple just doing normal couple things," an onlooker said. They later went
to the 'ReAct Now: Music + Relief' benefit.

Moore posted a message to fans on her official forum on Thursday (September
1), sharing her thoughts about Hurricane Katrina and providing an update
on her music and film projects. Moore writes, "Hello there. Hope this finds
you all very well. First off, I'm apologizing once again for my lack of
communication with you guys. There just hasn't been much to update you
on. But more importantly, I can't even begin to tell you how much my heart
goes out to all the victims of Hurricane Katrina in the gulf coast. For
some reason, I haven't been able to manage to tear myself from the TV ---
as if watching the constant stream of coverage will somehow help make it
all better. Not to sound like a broken record, but I recommend visiting
http://www.redcross.org and making any kind of donation. Seriously." Read

Snead of the LA Daily News caught up with Mandy Moore at Fred Segal in
Santa Monica Monday to launch her limited-edition "Imagine" T in her Mblem
clothing line. The $62 shirt bears the lyrics from John Lennon's "Imagine"
and promotes Amnesty International's "Imagine" campaign, a global initiative
for human rights. "Given this great opportunity to reach out to people,
I'd be remiss if I didn't lend a hand," proclaimed Moore, in an Mblem teal
T and lace doily wrap. "I'm so lucky to be able to join people working
hard for something so universal." Read more.

reports that Mandy Moore plans on giving her pals T-shirts from her new
line Mblem as their Christmas and birthday gifts. "I obviously have a very
happy group of friends that are gifted with lots of T-shirts and my mom
loves them as well," Moore said. "But it's sort of fun for me, too. I have
this endless supply of the perfect T-shirt that I'm kind of obsessed with.
That's what they're getting for Christmas and that's what they're getting
for their birthdays - on top of other things!"

Entertainment News Network reports that Mandy Moore gushed about her crush
on Hugh Grant after working with the British actor in the upcoming movie
'American Dreamz'. "I'm sure Hugh's probably back in London now going like:
'I worked with this girl, Mindy...' like I made no impression on him whatsoever,"
Moore said. "But I think all the women just were gushing around him saying:
'It's Hugh Grant!' The accent, he's charming, he's hilarious, he's so talented
and yet so humble. Just such a regular guy. I was like: 'Oh my God, I hope
all movie stars are like this!'"

reports that Mandy Moore is set to sing about her split from tennis ace
Andy Roddick on her forthcoming album. "I've co-written the whole thing
and I spent the last year writing. I think it's gonna surprise people,"
Moore said. "It's a very sophisticated, cool, singer-songwriter-y like
organic pop record... It's sort of just chronicling what's happened in
my life over the last year or so. A lot to do with love and heartbreak
and stuff. But it's my first kind of venture into like sitting down and
actually writing. It's been like the most cathartic thing I ever, ever
could've done. And it's so fun to sort of put something (on paper) that
you're not feeling not too great about and turn it into a positive thing."
