March 26, 2006 - People magazine caught up with Mandy Moore for a Q&A and asked the singer/actress about reports she and boyfriend Zach Braff are engaged. "I can't tell you how many people I've had call me asking about it," she said. "No, it's not true at all. That's a big part of my life, and of course I would start by telling my family and friends first. But it's funny nonetheless. I've gotten a lot of congratulations from random people. And I just have to laugh and think, 'You believe the tabloids?'" Read more.

March 15, 2006 - After some confusion to whether her Myspace profile was real, Mandy Moore posted the following message to fans on the forum of her official website, MandyMoore.com: "Okay everyone... I wanted to clear up some misinformation. The myspace page is in fact my own and was created at the suggestion of my record co., management, etc. 'Beautiful Man' is a version of a song I love from my friend Lori McKenna. March 15, 2006 - Apparently Mandy Moore recently launched a myspace page, though because of the actress/singer's long history in dealing with the imposter who spams their phoney Mandy website on various forums, including here, and because there's no reference to the content on her official website, there is some question of its authenticity. The site includes her cover of the Lori McKenna track 'Beautiful Man' and a blog posting where Moore said, "The song in my player is about as rough as it gets. It's just me singing a Lori McKenna song in my friend's living room but I really love the song and am fine with anyone hearing it if it means turning more people on to her and her writing. She is SO INCREDIBLE and this is truly one of my favorite songs of hers." Check it out here.

March 5, 2006 - 'Scrubs' star Zach Braff threw cold water on gossip that he and Mandy Moore are engaged in a posting on his official website Sunday (February 19). "I am not engaged," Braff said.
