7, 2006 - Mandy Moore checked in with fans on her blog at Myspace on Friday
(August 4). Moore revealed, "I am in the thick of record pre-production
and loving every minute of it. I feel super lucky to have an amazing producer
on board (John Alagia) and we're starting mid-September somewhere far away
from LA---woohoo!" The singer/actress added that she's been working with
"good gracious, she's just plain amazing" Lori McKenna, and Brandi Carlile,
who Moore said "may have the greatest singing voice I've ever heard." Read

in New York's trendy Meat Packing District. "It seems like you can't be
a celebrity in New York without the Paparazzi appearing out of nowhere,"

tells USA Today she's a bit of a television junkie. "I absolutely love
shows with subtle comedy," Moore says. The singer/actress had a chance
to work with 'The Office' star John Krasinski on her new film 'License
to Wed'. "I was super star-struck and geeky when I met John," Moore said,
citing the NBC show along with 'The Simpsons' and 'The Daily Show with
Jon Stewar't as her favorite TV fare. "It was almost embarrassing." Read

with records to be distributed by EMI Music in the U.S. and licensed for
