March 29, 2000 - Mandy will be getting her first movie role in a new home video, Magic Al & The Mind Factory., where she will play Brittany Foster. The video should be out this fall.

March 27, 2000 - Mandy Moore was in Sunday's Parade magazine (usually included in the Sunday newspaper). Just a short blurb talking about how she could be the 'next Britney' and that she has a big crush on the Backstreet Boy's AJ McLean.

March 22, 2000 - More details on the So Real 'upgrade'. The new CD will be called I Wanna Be With You and will be released on May 9. It will have 5 new tracks that will replace 5 yet to be named tracks off the original and will include an interactive CD-ROM component.

March 20, 2000 - Here's details of Mandy's appearances this weekend on MTV Spring Break:
Spring Breakdown (8:30PM Friday) - Mandy Moore along with Sisqo host this spring break dance competition featuring a live performance by Pink. Funkmaster Flex and DJ Skribble are spinning the hottest tunes.
Mandy's Spring Breakover (10:30AM Saturday) - Mandy Moore with co-hosts Marlon Wayans and David Evangelista makes over a lucky spring breaker and turns him loose in Cancun to see the results. In addition, spring breakers will get to see Mandy perform I Want To Be With You.

March 18, 2000 - The New York Daily News today is reporting that Mandy Moore is "rumored to be spending lots of time with Brian McFayden, an anchor for MTV News." Moore says they are just friends, keeping in mind McFayden is 10 years older than Mandy.

March 18, 2000 - The Mandy Moore Fanatic episode aired last night on MTV for the first time. She and her fanatic came across great. Mandy said she was proud to be 15 years old and liked to dress her age. She said she likes tall guys (she's 5'10") and it sounded like she'd prefer to date someone in her business because they can relate to what goes on. She was real pleasant with the girl and at the end gave her a heart pendant necklace and made a donation in her name to Rock the Vote. Plus, afterwards, she invited the girl to lunch with her.

March 17, 2000 - Mandy Moore is interviewed by Elysa Gardner in Today's USA Today where she talks about her path the stardom, role models, and that her song Candy was reminder of an ex-boyfriend where she confides "I thought about an ex-boyfriend when I was recording that song," she adds "It kind of added a little bit of grit, 'cause I still kind of liked him, but I was still mad at him, too. I had only dated him for three months, but it was kind of my first serious relationship, where it wasn't just like, 'Let's get together at school.' We went to the movies and out to dinner and stuff like that."

March 15, 2000 - Don't mess with Mandy's Dancers, Allpop is reporting that one of her dancer's got their cell phone and computer stolen. Mandy called the cell phone number and the guy was dumb enough to answer the phone, only to get yelled at by the angry Moore! He had just bought the stolen cell phone an hour earlier off the street.

March 14, 2000 - It looks like the big surprise is a new release of Mandy's So Real album with new tracks. Now abstracts.net wonders, is Mandy going to push her record company to make a 'free upgrade' to existing purchasers of her CD available as an MP3 download on her site?

March 13, 2000 - Well Mandy teased everyone on her message boards about a big surprise coming May 9th, guess we'll have to wait to find out what it is.

March 12, 2000 - Mandy Moore will be part of MTV's Spring Break in Cancun, Mexico, and will air March 24-26.

March 12, 2000 - Mandy Moore will perform I Wanna Be With You on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Thursday, March 23rd.

March 12, 2000 - Watch out for Mandy Moore on MTV's Fanatic, which one of her biggest fans gets the privilege to interview her. The show premieres Friday, March 17 at 10:30pm.
