October 31, 2000 - Eyada.com's Chuance Hayden this weekend on Britney Spears, "I don't think she's that good looking," adding, "Britney Spears I give her a 6. She's got a chubby waist, her eyes are too far apart. She doesn't do it for me at all." Chaunce said he does believe she's still a virgin and what you see onstage is the "PR". The 40 year old Chaunce added "I would pay $100 million" to sleep with Mandy Moore."

October 29, 2000 - Pink and Mandy Moore performed at Bergen County Academy for being the winner of New York's Z100 radio station school spirit contest. Full details are here.

October 27, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca receiving a threatening letter from a Mandy Moore fan following his report that she defaced a poster of Britney Spears. The anonymous letter writer wrote, "Watch your mouth. Live longer." Ted seemed unphased answering, "Threats of an early demise no longer frighten me."

October 25, 2000 - The New York Daily New's Mitchell Fink reports today that Mandy Moore is now dating Wilmer Valderrama (That '70s Show).

October 25, 2000 - Artists Direct is running a contest where the winner will receive a call from Mandy Moore herself, with the runner up receiving a life-size stand up of Mandy.

October 24, 2000 - Old news, but still talked about on her message boards, a very saddened Mandy Moore responded to criticism of her performance at the Fowlerville Fair which has created a hornet's nest on her official site's message boards.

October 21, 2000 - Mandy Moore's "I Wanna Be With You" will be featured in NOW That's What I Call Music! 5, which will be released November 14.

October 13, 2000 - Mandy Moore recently commented on fame, saying "I don't want to take fame for granted because that is when you start to think you are better than everyone else. That is when you start thinking that you are someone that you are not." And like her peers, Mandy would like to follow in Madonna's footsteps, admitting, "I would love to have a career like Madonna's, minus all the fashion risks. Even people that hate her are the first to go out and buy her records just to see what she is doing and stuff."

October 12, 2000 - Mandy Moore revealed to fans on her mailing list that her morning MTV show, Mandy, will return soon. Mandy told fans, I'm so psyched to get into the MTV studios again. We're actually going to tape the pilot for the new Mandy series scheduled to air Monday thru Friday this Fall. I think you'll really love the ideas we're coming up with for the show."

October 8, 2000 - Three autographed Mandy pictures are bidding on ebay. The first, item #458745195, features Mandy against a baby blue background. The 2nd, item #458746091, has Mandy in a white tank top bearing her name, the third, item #458746639, is Mandy in red. All three are from the same seller, are unbid at $24.99, and end October 14th.

October 5, 2000 - Well Mandy finally has gotten into the diva controversy, as E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports tonight that Mandy's trailer at the production ground of The Princess Diaries includes a poster of one Britney Spears. Problem is, Mandy added  a mustache, devil horns, pubic hair, and drawn-on nipple rings, not to mention a heart tattoo with "Mandy Moore" written across Britney's chest, according to a member of the film's production staff. Mandy's manager denied the claim saying the poster had no graffiti on it. Of course if you've ready the comments on our message boards from her similarly aged female peers, you'd see this is normal behavior!

October 1, 2000 - Mandy will be visiting TRL and Carson Daly Wednesday to personally premiere Walk Me Home, where she'll also be pitching for people to vote it into the countdown.
