on a bag of popcorn at an LA screening of Hannibal. Boyfried Luis Miguel
left a 38 carat necklace at the bottom as a Valentine's gift.

25, 2001 - A artist who drew Mariah Carey is auctioning the original work
on ebay. The 9x12 drawing, item #1411631596, is unbid at $5 and ends February
27th. In another auction, an autographed photo of Mariah, item #1114070232,
is unbid at $19.99 and ends February 28th.
February 23, 2001 - E! Online's
Ted Casablanca reports Mariah Carey and a female friend were spotted together
at Bistro at Bacara, the posh Santa Barbara resort while a bodyguard kept
eye.
February 22, 2001 - The New
York Post reports Tommy Mottola and Mariah Carey almost crossed paths Sunday
night in Los Angeles at Mr. Chow's. Each was with their respective beau
with Carey and Luis Miguel dropping in just minutes after Mottola and Thalia
had left.
February 18, 2001 - In The
Sporting News' tribute to Young Athletes in Love, the magazine said of
Derek Jeter and Mariah Carey, "Mariah thought she had her 'Dreamlover',
but 'Honey', 'Love Takes Time' that the Yankees shortstop didn't have.
'Someday' I'm going to regret knowing all those references to her songs.
Jeter has since moved on to dating Miss Universe -- tough way to rebound,
right?"

Carey and Jay Z were spotted at a banquette with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot
at SoHo's NV club Wednesday night, reports the New York Daily News.
February 8, 2001 - Sonicnet
reports Mariah Carey is nearly finished with the soundtrack for All That
Glitters, the movie she stars in as well. The album will have an '80s feel
as Jimmy Jam told the site, "We pulled out the drum machine that we used
for the S.O.S. Band records in the '80s. It's amazing, you plug that stuff
up, and you're really, like, back there."
