June 26, 2001 - The Sun's Dominic Mohan reports on the similarities between Mariah Carey and Kylie Minogue's videos and quotes an insider on the set of Loverboy saying, "[Mariah's] proud of her bottom and isn't afraid to show it off. I'm sure her male admirers won't be complaining." Read more.

June 26, 2001 - Howard Stern played a couple of Mariah's fan messages and told listeners he thinks Mariah's people will contact him asking to not play anymore tapes. Howard says Gary is to tell them that Mariah has to have sex with him in her new apartment if she want him to stop.

Howard said he likes Mariah and will consider the request.

June 21, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca stood up for those attacking Mariah's clothing, or lack thereof, in Loverboy saying, Oh, go puke in somebody else's column. June 17, 2001 - Jessica Simpson reportedly made some negative remarks about her female peers to CNN at the charity Gala Dinner honoring Jackie Keneddy. Simpson reportedly gushed about Jackie O saying, "Jackie Kennedy is very sophisticated, and I'm trying trying to be more like that. I don't want to go overboard, I think people like Britney, Christina, and Mariah Carey are overdoing it, but with me it's all about the beauty of the body!"

June 11, 2001 - The New York Daily News reports Mariah Carey, Eminem, Eve, Nelly and Run DMC hung out together at NV/289 on Wednesday in New York. The group danced and drank Veueve Clicquot until the club closed at dawn.

June 9, 2001 - The New York Daily News reports sources have told them Mariah Carey has asked Virgin head Nancy Berry to lighten up on promoting Janet Jackson's new album to put more resources on her song. Her rep Cindi Berger told the Post, "Mariah has worked with every rapper in the business and showed Eminem the video [Loverboy] which debuts June 8."
