reports that Mariah Carey and Universal Records Group could scrap the idea
of releasing her re-packaged, Charmbracelet album. The singer has recorded
more than 16 tracks and the label could be rushing a new album by mid-November.

tells Men's Health magazine that he isn't afraid to lose guests who can't
take a joke. Asked for examples, Leno offered, "Mariah Carey, whom I like
and think is talented. According to her, I made too many 'Glitter' jokes.
Michael Jackson once tried to strangle me at an awards show, but I think
he was kidding. I made a lot of lace underwear jokes about Marv Albert,
and he hasn't come back either."

what she's been up to and clear up those Eminem rumors. Mariah suggested

spoke with Extra about her Charmbracelet Tour 2003. "We get to be up close
and personal with my fans, which is really what's it's all about," Mariah
said. As for what she'll be bringing with her on tour, Carey revealed,
"Lots of clothes, lots of shoes, and this girl brings lots of humidifiers

and Craig David pulling out of touring with Mariah Carey, and the shows
being moved to smaller venues, the singer is downplaying any problems.
"I am besieged by artists who want to be on my tour," she insisted to the
New York Post, although she declined to name names. Carey is looking to
her own label, Monarc, for talent instead. "I found my own groups who are

reports that Mariah Carey has hooked up with a new boyfriend, according
to a close friend of the mystery man. "They met while she was here in New
York for Zootopia," the pal revealed. "They talk on the phone but nothing
more. She [Mariah] has been very busy planning her tour and he has been

tells Radio 1 she wishes people would stop asking about her breakdown.
"It's just annoying because then the world is like, 'Oh, how are you? Are
you okay?' Not the world, but certain people," she explained. "And it's
like, 'Hi, I was dealing with the drama two years ago, now get with the
program, you're a little slow.'" Carey also admits she was a bit mystified
that people seriously thought she was designing a clothing range for golfers.

of FoxNews.com reports that before heading to South Korea on her world
tour, Mariah Carey had a reunion last night with old boyfriend and New
York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter at the Regent Ballroom. The pair were
there for Jeter's charity, the Turn 2 Foundation. Mariah had been invited
by Derek's sister, with whom she is still friendly. "Derek announced all
the celebs in the audience," a source revealed, "running down the list
matter of factly. He called out Mariah's name just like that, Mariah Carey,
as if nothing had gone on between them. But you could feel the buzz. It
was like Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio meeting up again." Read more.

reports that while many thought organizers kept trailers for Eminem and
Mariah Carey far apart at the Hot 97 Summer Jam X concert at Giant's Stadium
to avoid any chance encounters between the fueding pair, Carey's rep says
that's not the case. She says Mariah's trailer was ketp isolated because
her appearance was "a surprise." Carey joined Busta Rhymes on stage to
perform their hit 'I Know What You Want' before heading to his trailer
for 90 minutes to celebrate the track's success over champagne.

June 11, 2003 - An insider
confirmed Monday to the Las Vegas Sun that Mariah Carey is indeed coming
to Caesars Palace, despite reports that had Celine Dion not wanting to
have another female performer take her stage in between her shows at the
venue. Tickets are expected to go on sale this weekend for the planned
July 25th and July 26th shows.

spoke with 10-year-old Michelle Katz and her grandmother Dee Hofland after
they sent a request for the singer, who had cancelled her concert in Minnesota,
to contact her blind granddaughter. A phoney e-mailed response had devastated
the family, who told friends and eventually made it to the local news.
Michelle said of the subsequent phone call she received from Mariah, to
insist she'd never send that type of message: "Mariah was very nice. She
said she was sorry she couldn't do the concert, but she was looking forward
to meeting me." Mariah's rep Cindi Berger added, "Mariah feels terrible
about what's happened. She looks forward to meeting Michelle and her family
when her Charmbracelet tour is rescheduled."

on Wednesday was interrupted by Damon Dash and Mariah Carey. "She was dressed
to be noticed," a spy revealed. "She and Damon just walked into this class

a few autographs, and then they left."

of FoxNews.com has more details on the contentious lawsuit which TVT Records
recently won against Def Jam, including how the 'I'm Real' track Jennifer
Lopez did with Ja Rule, much to Mariah Carey's ire, happened. Def Jam president
Lyor Cohen revealed in court testimony, "Irv [Gotti] in the middle of [recording
a] Ja Rule album went and was asked to do a record for J.Lo. And then he
put Ja Rule on it, stripped Ja Rule on it. And I said, you know, this could
be devastating to our release. I don't think you should do this. He went
ahead and did it anyhow. I did send Epic [J.Lo's label, overseen by Tommy
Mottola] a letter not to allow them to do it." After presumable pressure
by Mottola to release the track, the project proceeded, and Mariah had

Post reports Mariah Carey recently told Gina D of Blink 102.7 FM that she
wants to design her own line of women's golf clothes. "I wasn't about to
wear some golf shirt with a collar," Carey said in regards to a recent
visit to a golf course where she was asked to comply with their dress code
mandating a collared shirt. "I went out on the links in 3-inch high heels
and barely anything on and they didn't mind. I'm now seriously contemplating
designing sexy women's golf clothes. I need some clothes to wear on the
links."
