July 31, 2003 - LoverBoy writes "I flew from Vancouver, Canada to see Mariah in Las Vegas, and I really enjoyed the show. Compare to her Rainbow tour's big arenas, I really prefer these smaller theaters. I was sitting right in the centre and behind Randy Jackson, who is the music director there. And for those haters who think that Mariah only whispers, they should go see her live because she can still hit those high notes, and belt out the same if not better than Christina or Kelly Clarkson!" She's just such an amazing talent," Clarkson said. "She asked me what I was doing and I said I was coming to London and she was like, 'Oh, you'll love it, I loved it myself.' Her one-hour, forty-five minute performance of her hit songs — in front of a sold out to the last seat room — was so confident I almost couldn’t believe she was the same person." Read more.

But the media is what it is. It's all about sensationalism, and selling papers, and TV time, and ratings. So once you come to terms with that, you don't hate the media. I don't hate the media. I get it." Read more.

Mariah Carey's high note in the live rendition of the Star Spangled Banner was a B6. It's not a G7# like many say. Mariah Carey's highest note was a live performance of Emotions at the Grammy Awards. I believe they also showed this amazing feat. on MTV and MTV2 22 Greatest Voices. She was the #1 voice." Read more.
