March 30, 2007 - The New York Daily News reports Mariah Carey dropped by Stereo at 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning with 'The Sopranos' star Robert Iler and model Alessandra Ambrosio to visit her DJ friend Suss One. Carey jumped behind the turntables, spinning till 5 a.m.

March 11, 2007 - David Hinckley of The New York Daily News suggests that because Mariah Carey was able to bounce back from her 2001 meltdown, Britney Spears can do likewise. "Carey also has more singing talent than Spears. But recording technology and packaging have dealt with that problem before, and Spears has the advantage of a gal-next-door personality that's warmer than Carey's diva image. That could help Britney pile up a stack of sympathy over what the media has done to her, even if she was wielding the scissors and fully aware cameras were clicking away." Read more.

March 11, 2007 - Mariah Carey discussed the favorite feature in her 12,000-square-foot Manhattan apartment, once featured on MTV's 'Cribs', with Hello magazine. "I have four closets," Carey explained. "There's one for lingerie, a shoe closet I designed with the architect Mario Buatta, and a pretty area for clothes with moving wardrobes and a bunch of shelves where I do fittings with stylists. The closets are a big part of my life, it sounds obsessive   but they are pretty fabulous."

February 24, 2007 - ITV reports Mariah Carey has signed on to become the face of Pinko, inking a "very, very big deal" with the fashion label. The singer explained, "I'm really flattered to have been asked to be the new face of Pinko. I first discovered this spectacular fashion house while working in Italy, in my favourite place in the world, the Isle of Capri. I immediately became a huge fan of the brand, and I bought almost everything in the store. So as you can imagine, when I was approached about doing the Pinko campaign I was beyond excited." January 28, 2007 - Randy Jackson tells MTV News he's been tempted to tap into his much-hyped Rolodex for guest appearances on 'American Idol', beginning with Mariah Carey. "We've tossed it around a bit," said Jackson, who oversaw Carey's touring band last year. "I think she'd be great because I think still, for me, she and Whitney [Houston] and Celine [Dion] are those three big, great divas - some of the better singers of our time.
