April 27, 2000 - Mariah doesn't escape the pen of E! Online's Ted Casablanca as he reports that Mariah asked a photographer to get her good side, and promptly shoved her back side in his face!

April 19, 2000 - Worldpop.com says today that Mariah bought a new condo in New York's Tribeca area and they also say she's a noisy tenant, saying "she takes to warming up her vocal chords at all hours of day or night."

April 19, 2000 - New York Daily News today had a bit on Mariah, saying she's not preggers despite her recent nausea problems.

April 19, 2000 - Mariah's rep today responded to USA Today about her sisters reported claims in her new book saying "Any illicit activities her sister engaged in were for her own means. This is a woman who has been in and out of rehab and other treatment centers, also paid for by Mariah. It is a sad situation. We don't even know if a book exists."

April 18, 2000 - Worldpop.com is reporting that Mariah Carey's sister admits in her new book Mariah & Me that she prostituted herself to get money saved so that her sister could be a pop star!

April 14, 2000 - In the what Aguilera rumor isn't true bin, z100 today claims that Mariah wasn't the reason Christina sang with the boys, but rather it was a marketing decision to have her on to draw a heterosexual male crowd as well. This seems reasonable, though it still leaves open the photo snub we reported earlier.

April 11, 2000 - eYada.com's internet radio gossip host Lori Kramer talked
about Divas 2000 saying Mariah was wearing a little gold lamaise outfit and
said "you just want to shoot her" adding she is "incredibly annoying" and
"screams too much".

April 11, 2000 - Pagesix.com reports that Donna Summer accidently was using
Mariah's dressing room and contrary to reports that Mariah threw a hissy fit
about it when she arrived, but executive producer Wayne Isaac reports
"Mariah was great. There wasn't any kind of attitude."

April 11, 2000 - We're getting additional word on the rift between Mariah and Christina, apparently the reason she got moved from the Divas to the Men Strike Back in the VH1 specials is that Mariah requested that Christina not be allowed to perform with them.

April 11, 2000 - The New York Daily News is reporting that Mariah Carey and
others in the Divas Live special received a $20,000 gift basket after the
show that included an Aaron Basha Briolette diamond necklace, a Bedet & Co.
diamond watch, a Motorola cell phone, Tattinger Champagne and a monogrammed
bathrobe from Jane Scott Hodges.

April 9, 2000 - A busty picture of Mariah is up for bids at eBay. The 8x10 picture (item #302606743), apparently from the Billboard Music Awards has a current bid of $20.50 and ends April 16.

April 9, 2000 - SNL and Collin Quinn last night took a stab at Mariah, saying she began to feel much better "as soon as they found a hospital gown that made her look like a whore."

April 8, 2000 - Popcentric.com is reporting second hand (thus treat as RUMOR) that Top of the Pops interviewed Christina (well we know this part is true, it's on their site) and apparently Mariah Carey refused to be photographed with Aguilera. Christina was quoted as saying "It was actually hard for me to take at first because I have idolised her for so long and I just wonder why?"

April 8, 2000 - Worldpop.com is reporting that staff at the exclusive Massachusetts General Hospital and that "she's said to have made their lives a hellish nightmare over her three-day stay." She was full of demands the site says and the hotel she was staying at is trying to say she got the bad oysters from a take-out, not their hotel.

April 6, 2000 - Mariah Carey check out of Massachusetts General Hospital today and is still expected to perform this weekend on VH1 for the Divas Live special.

April 6, 2000 - eYada.com's Richard Johnson reported Luis Miguel had latin bombshell Sophie Vergara in his boat just before Mariah stopped off her tour briefly to spend time with him! [hmm, perhaps we have an 'open' relationship here?]

April 5, 2000 - eYada.com's Richard Johnson today reported that not only was Mariah getting sick off bad oysters, but she may have been hung over as well after partying up with guypal and record exec Jermaine Dupree.

April 4, 2000 - Access Hollywood tonight reported that Mariah's concert has been put on hold because she got food poisoning. Mariah was sufferring from dehydration and was at Massachusetts General Hospital recovering. We wish Mariah a speedy recovery!
