I bought it today, I really like it. It's not better than Butterfly which remains my all time favourite and I could'nt tell you if it's better or worse than Glitter cuz I personally liked it.

So for those who have it, what do you think of it?

I love many songs, especially "Bringin on the heartbreak" the song for her dad is really good, I love yours, you got me, CLown is great, you had your chance.....well, to be honest I love them all. To me it's very different from Rainbow and Glitter in that the style is different, there aren't as many featurings and hip-hop/ R&B stuff as in the two others......it's very much a ballad album, very laid back, relaxing.......can't think of any tune to shake your booty but at the end of the day, ballads are what she does best.

Anyway, hope you're enjoying it as much as I am and hopefully it'll be succesful cuz it's a good album. :)

Oh, and I love the photos, I prefer when she puts on clothes.

PS: isn't it strange that she rewrote teh sentence that was in rainbow and linked it to Charmbracelet? what about Glitter? I hope she's not denying that album cuz though unsuccesful, it was really good......ate least to me

Thansk for replying Cassandra, and welcome to the boards :)

Butterfly has always been her best album to me simply cause the whole album seems to be telling the story of my life! But the more I listen to Charmbracelet the more I love it......now, I can give you a chart of my favourites:

1. bringin on the heartbreak
2. clown
3. u got me
4. yours
5. Through the rain
6. the one
7. boy (glad Just-in Timber-cake is not on that one cuz Cam'ron just rocks!!)
8. I only wanted
9. Sunflowers for Alferd Roy
10. Lullaby
11. You had your chance
12. Subtle invitiation
13.Irresistible
14.My saving Grace
15. Through the Rain remix

I love them all, and it's hard to make a chart but I really love the first 10 ones. Just to give you an idea I listen to the album on a repeat mode without selecting the tracks, I just let it go from beginning to end :D

Tell me people, do you think this song is for Eminem? to me it looks as though it is, very upsetting cuz I love the song but I am not fond of Eminem

check the lyrics:

CLOWN

I should've left it at, how ya doin'
I should've left it at
I like your music too, and
I should've never called you back
When you pursued me
I should've never given you
My f***ing N two way
I should've never listened
To your woeful stories
The ones I'm sure you
Told a thousand times before me
You should've never intimated
We were lovers
When you know very well
We never even touched each other

Who's gonna love you when
It all falls down, and
Who's gonna love you when
Your bankroll runs out
Who's gonna care when the novelty's over
When the star of the
Show isn't you anymore
Nobody cares when the tears of a clown
Fall down...
Nobody cares when the tears of a clown
Fall down

I gotta break it to ya delicately, dunny
Takin' my g5 twenty minutes wasn't nothin'
But I guess you wouldn't know
That's the way I roll
Consequently now your ego's fully
Overblown
You don't want the world to know
That you're just a puppet show
And the little boy inside
Often sits at home alone
And cries, cries, cries, cries
(Boo hoo. Who?)

Who's gonna love you
When it all falls down, and
Who's gonna love you
When your bankroll runs out
(When your bankroll runs out)
Who's gonna care when the novelty's over
When the star of the
Show isn't you anymore
Nobody (Nobody)

Your pain is so deep rooted
What will your life become
Sure you hide it
But you're lost and lonesome
Still just a frail shook one

Who's gonna love you
When it all falls down, and
(Tell me who's gonna love you? Who? I'd like to know)
Who's gonna love you when
Your bankroll runs out
(If you didn't have nothing)
Who's gonna care when the novelty's over
(Who, who'd still be there)
When the star of the show isn't you anymore
(Nobody, nobody, nobody, oh)
Nobody cares when the tears of a clown
(There ain't nobody baby)
Fall down...
(Bullies in the schoolyard)
(When they fall they fall hard)
Nobody cares when the tears of a clown
(Yeah... so you)
Fall down
(Better think twice, better play nice)
('Cause who's gonna be there)

Who's gonna love you when it all falls down, and
(When the jokes on you)
Who's gonna love you when your bankroll runs out
(A marionette show)
Who's gonna care when the novelty's over
(Who's makin' you move though)
When the star of the show isn't you anymore
(I know what kills you slow)
Nobody cares when the tears of a clown
(I'm gonna keep your little)
Fall down
(Secret though, mmmm, hmmmm)
(And you know that I know)
Nobody cares when the tears of a clown
(You're no superhero)
Fall down...
(I guess your mamma never told you that what goes around comes around. Pow)

Whether it is or not is not really important, it's still a GREAT song

It's a great song!

When you're saying it I wonder about the dedication now....

Honestly Claire you should buy it, you won't regret it. This song along with others are just jems. I think Clown has become my fave of the album, still love "bringin on the heartbreak" but the lyrics are not really special.....it's just teh kind of ballad that really appeals to the sappy side of me  Whereas Clown's lyrics are just great, it's so well written. If she is actually talking about him, she is very subtle, it's a very classy way of setting the record straight. I think he mentionned her in his album, in his usual trashy-stupid style blatantly ibegging for attention. She is a queen, just for this song, for rising above this with so much class.

Clown - I love it; Bringin' Out the Heartbreak - not exactly my style, but I like the lyrics.

I have to listen some more times and I'll give a better answer I think!

"My Saving Grace" is right up there with songs like "Buttefly" and "Can't Take That Away."-I think that is my favorite song on the album.
