FOUNDING MEMBER OF 98 DEGREES FORMS NEW BAND
(December 29-31, 2000) - Essential Records has signed new pop group True Vibe, formed by former 98 Degrees founding member Jonathan Lippman. The group is scheduled to release its first project in May of 2001. According to Essential, Lippman left 98 Degrees to fulfill acting obligations and to further deepen his relationship with Christ. True Vibe includes Lippman and vocalists Jason Barton, Nathan Gaddis and Jordan Roe. The group has already appeared on 'Late Night with David Letterman,' performed the national anthem for several major sporting events, and has performed at the Arena Football 'Superbowl' in Orlando, which was broadcast to over 150 countries. Prior to the start of his music career with 98 Degrees, Lippmann's acting stints included a role on the television show 'Sweet Valley High' and commercials for Burger King. His performances with 98 Degrees early on included national tours with the Backstreet Boys and Montell Jordan. 'When it came to forming True Vibe,' Lippman says, 'I knew each member must be held to the highest standard. I know that for True Vibe to compete, we have to work twice as hard and make no compromises. Not only does this mean having members with the best vocal and dance skills, it also means having members with the right hearts.' Visit acaza.comhttp://www.acaza.com for more information.
