NEW YORK (AP) - Hours before a jury acquitted him of weapons and bribery charges, Sean 'Puffy' Combs and his entourage were at Radio City Music Hall, enjoying a concert.
The 31-year-old rap mogul took in a performance Thursday by Grammy nominee Jill Scott and Carl Thomas. Thomas is signed to Combs' Bad Boy record label.
At one point, Thomas sang the gospel song 'Trouble Don't Last Always,' then said, 'Puffy, trouble don't last always.'
The audience cheered Combs as he moved about the aisles later, and some snapped pictures. Combs stayed until the end of both performances.
The charges against Combs stemmed from a December 1999 nightclub shooting that left three people wounded. Jamaal 'Shyne' Barrow, another Combs' protege, was convicted of two counts of assault, reckless endangerment and two weapons charges.
