The Backstreet Boys--who will wrap up the first leg of their North American tour on March 25--have revealed the initial routing for a summer tour of U.S. arenas that will kick off on June 8th in the group's native Florida.

Twenty-nine U.S. concert dates have been announced, and the group plans to schedule a total of 50 North American dates this summer. No venues have yet been confirmed, but venues and additional dates will be announced in the coming weeks, according to a press release.

R&B-reggae artist Shaggy, whose sophomore release 'Hotshot' recently spent four straight weeks at the top of the album chart, has landed the opening slot on Backstreet Boys' summer tour. 'Hotshot' features the hit singles 'Angel' and 'It Wasn't Me.'

The Backstreet Boys' 'Black & Blue' album was released last November and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It has sold over eight million copies to date, according to the group's publicist.
