If you only buy one of their albums get Apetite for Desruction. The song Welcome to the Jungle is worth the money. :chatter:

GnR lies was a geat album, only the second side. :bored:

Use your Illusion I and II were good, makes me want to watch Terminator.

The Spagetti Incident sucked.

APPETITE...2 p's 4 douBle the fun honey bee. gnr does have total rockin' qualities, however axl's so f***in' annoying and arrogant that it almost makes it difficult 2 listen without somehow seeing his anger management needin' ass, screwin' his fans by canceling endless shows in the past and now obviously in the present. axl cares about axl and it shows in his music. the old gnr with slash and duff was tight as all hell...but rip 2 the forkin' 'new gnr.' it won't happen. axl still behaves like a spoiled angry addicted rock star and it just ruins the vibe of what otherwise could be grade A ~ loud motherf***in' rock music.

I agree, they have lost their metal edge if they ever had one. It always seemed to me that their songs were more like the rock ballads of the 80's with a more furious twist of the 90's that made them popular. The controversy over lyrics was something that made me want to buy their first album and check it out. After that, i liked them so much i bought all their others. Dispite all the hype caused by Axel, they are great musicians with bad performance skills, as with most bands, i think.
