OHMYGOSH!!!! He is so hot, in an older man kinda way! I liked him before Orli. He won Sexest man last year. Not only is he hot my he can sing!!! I loved him in Moulin Rouge! (Actually to tell teh truth I'm listing to that soundtrack right now, freaky deaky!) You won't be shunned, just looked down apon. (HEHEHHE just kidding!! :D ) Well people. I gotta go bye!!!

Ewan:
Love is a many splendored thing
Love lifts us up where we belong
All you need is love

Nicole:
Please don't start that again
Ewan:
All you need is love
Nicole:
A girl has got to eat
Ewan:
All you need is love
Nicole:
She'll end up on the street
Nicole:
Uhh
Ewan:
All you need is love
Nicole:
Love is just a game
Ewan:
I was made for loving you baby
You were made for loving me
Nicole:
The only way of loving me baby
Is to pay a lovely fee
Ewan:
Just one night
Give me just one night
Nicole:
There's no way
Cause you can't pay
Ewan:
In the name of love
One night in the name of love
Nicole:
You crazy fool
I won't give in to you
Ewan:
Don't leave me this way
I can't survive without your sweet love
Oh baby don't leave me this way
Nicole:
You think that people would have enough of silly love songs
Ewan:
I look around me and I see it isn't so, oh no
Nicole:
Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs
Ewan:
Well what's wrong with that
I like to know
Cause here I go again
Ewan:
Love lifts us up where we belong
Where the eagles fly
On a mountain high
Nicole:
Love makes us act like we are fools
Throw our lives away
For one happy day
Ewan:
We can be heroes
Just for one day
Nicole:
You, you will be mean
Ewan:
No I won't
Nicole:
And I, I'll drink all the time
Ewan:
We should be lovers
Nicole:
We can't do that
Ewan:
We should be lovers
And that's a fact
Nicole:
No nothing would keep us together
Ewan:
We could steal time
Ewan & Nicole:
Just for one day
We can be heroes
Forever and ever
We can be heroes
Forever and ever
We can be heroes
Ewan:
Just because I, and I will always love you
Nicole:
I only can't help
Ewan & Nicole:
Loving You
Nicole:
How wonderful life is now
Ewan and Nicole:
You're in the world

my friend burnt me the sound track from moulin rouge for x-mas, and now, i like, never turn it off.

but my favorite song is either the elephant love song, come what may, or spectacular spectacular....wait, i cant decide, i love every song in that movie.

and its hillarious how, when they have never seen eachother, or met before, they just magically know the words to the songs and stuff.
I LOVE IT!

I suggest you not to forget that he is also a really talented actor.

I personally think that Christian - this is a good performance, but it is not his type of character. He is more comfortable in the Danny Boyle movies - "Trainspottng" and "Life Less Ordinary", where he is playing the crazy guy. This totally suits him, and with that Scottish accent he makes his characters even more colourful.

I can't wait for the Trainspotting sequel - "Porn". Man, that should be a great movie with Ewan! Plus, I know he shot a movie with Emily Mortimer with a lot of R-rated sexual content - well, that would deserve audience. But they're probably not going to show it.

And btw - I don't think he can sing... I don't know about you, probably the whole movie influences you.

And I also don't think he is appropriate for a Jedi knight - I mean - do you remember Obi Wan? He was a great old knight. Ewan just seems not that serious for the part. Just give him the geek part- and he is gonna do it!

 PervyHobbitFancier- I know! I love the sound track. It's my "going to sleep" music. Lol. I love his voice, too bad he smokes it won't last for long. I like Hindi Sad Dimonds too. There are just so many good songs on that CD. ( i have a burnt copy too, my friend gave it to me for Christmas too!)

lancesgrl- I know, some people don't have any taste! I loved that movie, I think that he did a good job in it.

Claire  - (lol j/k) I think that he did a great job in the movie. The fact that he doesn't usually play roles like that made it even better. But I do agree that he didn't make a good Obi Wan. I didn't like him in that role. He would make a great Fantom of the Opera though. That would be the coolest movie. I like the music from that. Well see ya'all later!

Adios!!!! :D  <_<

Chicago may be the best of the newest, but do not forget that "Cabaret" is the best musical.

Oh, everybody, why are you so obsessed with Ewan singing? When he sings I can't hear his Scottish accent! I definitely see him more as formed drug addict than some French writer. That was definitely not his best character, it's just the one that the Americans liked, because it was a popular movie and easy to assililate and Baz Lurhman was the best thing about it. They don't like Danny Boyle's movies in America - too troubled.

P.S. Pervy, I haven't seen this "Velvet Goldmine" movie. Will you shed some more light on it please! :)

:::Synopsis
Loosely based on the experiences and personalities of David Bowie and Iggy Pop, VELVET GOLDMINE is a wild, glitter-laced trip through the 1970s era of glam rock. Fictional characters Brian Slade (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) and Curt Wild (Ewan McGregor) are personifications of glam rock's ideals, with the mysterious and androgynous Slade balanced by the intense, raucous Wild. When Slade disappears, the era itself seems to melt away, swallowed up by the slick 1980s. But Slade's story, and the story of glam rock, is retold when journalist Arthur Stuart (Christian Bale) is assigned to discover what really happened to Slade. Through his own memories of this time, Arthur faces his childhood fears and fantasies. With a nod to Oscar Wilde, a CITIZEN KANE-like structure, and an overall sumptuous atmosphere, VELVET GOLDMINE is director Todd Haynes's unique look at homosexuality, indulgence, and, most importantly, rock 'n' roll.

this is a summary i found, it explains it better than I can.

but its a great movie. Ewan has long hair, and like it says, VERY GLITTERY!(yay!)

but all in all, a v. good movie.

It sounds great... exactly the type of movie I would love. Hell, they must have not showed it here. Plus it's a Todd Haynes picture.... oh... I would definitely love it. Maybe it's on video, who knows. I'm going there to check.

Ah, yes, does he sing there? That would be disturbing

Oh, that film sounds interesting...Down With Love I think the name is. Heh, Ewan in no way can be Rock Hudson, but he'll at least do a decent job portraying him.

Ah, first liked Ewan when I saw Velvet Goldmine. The essence of 70s Glam Rock all bundled into one film. Great music, great acting, great visuals, and even references to Oscar Wilde...what else could be better? And the scene with Ewan and Jonathan sharing that tender, loving kiss? Beautiful. So, yeah...it's a good film. Should see it if you haven't already.
