Okay so first of all... the biggest problem we had was getting there! I went to mapquest.com and they gave me the weirdest directions! They led me along all these suburban residential streets in the middle of nowhere and we ended up in someone's driveway. :lol: So my friends begged me to ask for directions and I went up to the house, rang the doorbell and asked how the hell we were supposed to get to the Dunkin Donuts Center. Believe it or not we weren't the only ones to show up at that doorstep with weird directions! :lol: We finally got there and $7.75 later ( <_< ) I had dinner (french fries and a water... ridiculous!) We found our seats... noticing along the way some signs saying "Meet Guster after their set!" Our seats weren't bad. No where near eye sex range but not bad. We were about 25 rows back I think. Not bad... I could still see John's facial expressions and read his cute little Buccaneers shirt.

So Guster went first of course. Rocked my world... I hadn't seen them live since 2002. We left a little before they stopped playing to run and get in line. We were RIGHT up close and by the time Guster finished, it felt like the whole place was in line. One of my friends had bought their Road Journal... it's like a little book... and let all of us rip a page out. I ripped out a picture of Adam (:wub:) and Ryan with Mayer and Dela in some last-show-of-the-tour-hazing from a few years ago. The Guster guys are dancing around wearing nothing but strategically placed John Mayer shirts and KFC buckets on their heads. :lol: I put it down in front of Adam... he stared at it... laughed and was like "Now THAT *points a finger at Ryan's nekkid butt* is a nice ass!" and then signed it. I had Joe (who exactly IS Joe? I really thought Guster was a 3 guy band... :unsure:) talk to my friend on the phone while he signed!!! Ryan laughed a little when he saw my picture and then when it came to Brian he covered his eyes yelling "MY NAKED BANDMATES! MY NAKED BANDMATES!" and ended up signing ALL over the picture. :wub: It was fantastic.

Got back JUST in time for John to come on to Clarity! He welcomed not only Rhode Island but wanted to be knowlegable so welcomed Boston, surrounding Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York (got a few "Yankees Suck"s and boos! :lol:). He was amazing as always but SO. FRICKIN. HORNY. Must be the presence of a Slut Crew Memember... but no joke... SO MANY SEX STORIES. He talked about how sex is like music and you could get sick of too much of it (:huh:)... he feels like he's had a home gyno course! :o He also told us about how he once drew himself a picture and then got off to it! :o And THEN someone had a sign with the BOOBLESS thing upside down on it and he took it on stage because it made him horny! :lol: He talked a lot. Great stuff too. He got me thinking and DEFINATELY made my jaw drop to the floor a few times. :lol: He was so on. Played the guitar behind is back for A WHILE, played with both hand on top, played with the guitar on the ground, played LYING down!! He was fantastic. We also got some David Ryan Harris soloing... if you haven't checked him out solo I really suggest you do so! There was also some more Timberlake loving... Last Night AND Senorita.

I wrote the setlist on my arm...

* Clarity
* No Such Thing
* Something's Missing
* My Stupid Mouth (used the "this is a song called Comfortable" from Brandeis!! I think we started a new joke! :wub:
* "Untitled #2"
* Back to You
* Daughters
* Bigger Than my Body
* Same SRV guitar solo as Brandeis
* Come Back to Bed
* Why Georgia
* Your Body is a Wonderland (Senorita "it feels like somethin's heatin' up"!!)
* 83 (John on the drums!!!)

Encore:
3x5
Only Heart

The lowlights... the 4 teenyboppers in front of me. All in short ass skirts jumping up and down uncontrollably with their \m/ hands in the air to SOMETHING'S MISSING... screaming EVERYTIME he swore or said anything about sex... screaming "OMG OMG OMG OMG HE'S BEAUTIFUL! OMG OMG!" the whole time. I wanted to kill them so bad. <_< I have never encountered worse fans in my entire life. My whole section was pissed off at them... everyone behind them was imitating them and flipping their hair. That was actually hilarious. Thank God the rest of the people around me were cool. :D

I had a camera crisis. Remain calm, people. It will be okay.. I hope. I did what I told you guys I would... I finished up the roll from Brandeis and also took my digital. There were two pics left and I used them on Guster. And my digital did NOT like the lighting in the arena. I got few... they don't look amazing. I couldn't zoom without them getting blurry. :huh: I'll see what they look like once I get them up online. I also took a video of 3x5 and one of me in the car on the way talking about how excited we were. I want to get them up here so bad!! Let's cross our fingers... :crossfingers:

And that's it. Sorry. That might have been even longer than my Brandeis review. :lol: :ph34r:

At Brandeis my friend and I were yelling for Sucker and the two girls next to us were yelling for Comfortable. John said "this is a song called Comfortable" and shook his butt in their faces while he started up the intro to MSM. :lol:

And he did So Excited! Both nights! It's fabulous... so fun! :wub:

I've been so happy with his mood both nights. My concert over the summer was kind of weak. I felt like he came on, played, and then left. He hardly even talked. ;)

... I've been looking at other reviews on L-83 and MSM and apparently John picked some girl out of the front row and had Scotty escort her backstage a little before the show ended... :unsure: :lick: :shrug:

:lol: he's taking up the fan booty privilage..... :shrug: well he is horny and all.....

i'm glad the last two shows were such good ones for you.....i felt the same way bout the raleigh show....he just wasn't in the best of moods...he talked and told stories but not with the same fun he showed in ny or sc......it's hard after a great show cuz the next one doesn't always hold up to that last one......

I didn't hear Neon at my shows either. :( And I hate when you're stuck next to screamers (even though I'm one too sometimes :lol:).

The pics you saw were of my show at Brandeis... I think that review must be on page 2 if you want to check that out. :P

So I was on the Guster website looking for pictures of Providence and guess what I came across!!! :o http://img1.photobucket.com/albums/1003/kayno/cda66a04.gifThe annoying girls that sat in front of me in line to meet Guster!

I'd die if he played Covered In Rain, but I'll take whatever... I'd be happy if he came, did the songs from the Muppet Christmas Carol and then left :lol:... seriously... just to be in the same room, wow. :wacko: But I'll be keeping :crossfingers: for Man On The Side. :wub:

In Providence he used Man On the Side as an intro to CBTB. I wanted to kill him. :angry: :lol: I was so excited... I thought he was bringing out the old stuff.

Nayer, your Roxy show sounds amazing. :wub:
