Nay... good to see you back, even though as K2 says, you didn't really go anywhere.

It's like... less that 2 weeks! I think we all agree HP3 is the bestest... what about second favourite? I keep changing my mind, I think maybe Goblet but I'm not too sure. :P

Just read this article were JK went into a chatroom undercover to discuss ideas for the 6th and 7th book but all the fans dismissed them so she started chatting about Spongebob Squarepants instead. They'll print anything about her in the Scottish newspapers just so they can write "the edinburgh based writer" because she's all we've got... other than Sean Connery.

Oh, remind me to send you girls the HP books, I keep forgetting!

Second fave...maybe Order of the Phoenix... Goblet was good though.

OMG...I'm such nerd. :nerd: I'm SO glad that I'm not the only HP fan in here...

that's how i always thought it was pronounced too.

funny how we are all fans of HP... i originally bought the first book when it first came out. i had intended to read to zach at nite, but at the time he was too bored with a chapter book with no pictures. so i started reading it myself and immediately got hooked. i tell people all the time what a fan i am and most think i'm a :nerd: too. but i say.... :nana: :stfu:

 This is SO K1: :stfu:

I only got into HP last year when my sister started reading them. She told me I should and I was just like " Riiiight." I didn't even like the movie. And I didn't even read. But then I got hooked on LOTR and wanted to read that and she was like "Once you've read all HP's, I'll be done w/ LOTR so then you can read it..." So, I started reading it...taking forEVER to even get into the first one. But after that I was hooked. And never even thought about picking up LOTR. I know what happens, so

Billy Boyd made the best hobbit and that's totally not just because he was Scottish.

I've been reading all the reviews for HP and they're all good, saying it's way better than the first too and darker aswell. I've been annoying my mum allll day so she said she'll look into get tickets for the previews for the 31st tonight. :yay:

I haven't read LOTR either... I liked not knowning what was gonna happen in the movies. Except my friend who did read them told me Legolas was going to die, so I was always worried about that... and then he didn't. <_<

i never read the LOTR books either. but i have seen the first two movies. :D i watched the first one on video and got almost to the end and was so confused with all the names and stuff. so when #2 came out, i rented the first one again and watched the second one right after it. then i was able to get the gist of what was going on. duh.

it's funny what you said, bubs, about frodo being a wimpy hobbit! i remember when we were watching the second one i kept saying the same thing about sam always saving his butt.
