WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash) -- You might love N'Sync idol JC Chasez but he's a better singer than a psychiatrist.
That's the professional opinion of the folks at the National Mental Health Association, who are concerned over the news that Chasez is titling his upcoming solo recording, "Schizophrenic."
Shela Halper, who runs an NMHA program called "MPower: Musicians For Mental Health," says Chasez's choice of title is "unfortunate" since schizophrenia is a serious mental illness.
Halper hopes Chasez changes the album title because she doesn't think "anyone would accept a recording named after cancer or AIDS."
Chasez says the title is meant to reflect the CD's musical diversity but Halper says he's confusing schizophrenia with multiple personality disorder.
Halper doesn't think Chasez was trying to be derogatory but hopes he rethinks his title before the album is released Jan. 27.
