Kenneth "Babyface" Edomonds, Wyclef Jean, Mary J. Blige, Ashanti, JC Chasez, the Backstreet Boys, Brandy, Monica, Chingy, Russell Simmons, Jamie Foxx and Minnie Driver are among the pop stars and other celebs who will appear on a politically charged new version of the '60's R&B classic Wake up Everybody, produced by Edmonds. "We're trying to push people to vote" in the upcoming election says Edmonds, who is holding sessions in New York and Los Angeles this week. "It's not a partisan thing. I'm just saying, 'Get involved in the process.'" Proceeds from the song, due in August, will benefit America Coming Together, which is creating a voter contact program.
