LONDON (Reuters) - British supermodel Kate Moss has told friends she is desperate for a baby and is prepared to try fertility treatment in a bid to conceive, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
'Kate has told her closest friends that she is longing to have a baby. She is so keen for this to happen. It's all she talks about,' the paper quoted an unnamed friend of the model as saying.
The 27-year-old Londoner, who is in a relationship with magazine journalist Jefferson Hack, is said to have been influenced by the experiences of several close friends who already have children, including Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg Mathews.
'She and Jefferson have been trying for a while and she is now saying that if she does not become pregnant in the next six months, then she wants to start on a course of fertility therapy,' the friend was quoted as saying.
Moss, whose waifish frame and delicate features have adorned countless magazine covers over the last 10 years, has made a $21.84 million fortune from modeling.
In February she revealed that she quit modeling for a time last year after becoming disillusioned with the industry's hedonistic and drug-fueled lifestyle.
