Golden Globes

Postby jennifer » Mon Jan 22, 2001 1:42 pm

I watched the Golden Globes last night, but I wasnt too happy with them. Maybe its just me but the people that I thought should have one really didnt most of the time. I did agree with Tom Hanks winning for Castaway, though. Oh, and Julia Roberts for Erin Brochovich--that was well deserved!! I also thought the tribute to Al Pacino was nice. Let me know what you all thought!!

I thought Julia Roberts deserved 'Best Actress'. But, I thought Tom Hanks didn't deserve 'Best Actor' (that's my opinion). I'm glad Sex and The City won two gongs especially 'Best Comedy Show' in the TV section. It's a pity that Sarah Michelle Gellar didn't win 'Best Actress' in the TV Drama category but hopefully next year she will be nominated again and will win it!
