Yes, many things are legal, like drinking (but that ain't interesting cause everybody drinks before that age anyway). You can also jump from bridges and have tattoos done without parents permission, you can get married ( no such plans  ), etc.
But I am most interested in voting. I'm going to vote on the first possible elections - this autumn.

 except for the marriage part, you can do everything even if you're not yet on a legal age. that's why i wasn't really so excited when i turned 18. :P just don't get caught!! bad cactus!! :D

good news: presidential elections will be held next year in our country. bad news: i don't like any of the candidates. i remember what my professor told us before, "choose the lesser evil!". i don't think so. well anyway, i still have a whole year to think about who to vote. and the list of candidates isn't final yet. hoping a good candidate will show up soon. :(

After my April 26th 02' experience I know for a fact that voting is absolutely vital. It may not represent you but it helps avoiding some catastrophe from happening!!

By the way, did you vote on thursday? My moron flatmate didn't, he was busy waging war online and he "couldn't be arsed" we had a quick argument about it, I think he is pathetic....he's gonna be 30 in hardly 2 months' time for fock's sake!! Had he said "I'm not voting by principle" I'd have respected it, but for a war game! <_<

Oh, I just wanted to know what it is like, I don't have any particular candidate that I like. ;)
