took a shot at boy bands in his monologue Thursday reacting to the Microsoft
case being thrown out saying, "Hey, forget Microsoft. How about breaking
up *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees? This is what we should be breaking
up."

29, 2001 - Joey Fatone tells MTVasia.com that *NSYNC has no plans on putting
down the Backstreet Boys saying, "It's a friendly competition. They're
out doing their job and we're out doing ours. It's like we timed it so
perfectly, we released No Strings Attached and went out with one tour,
the rumours of a rivalry started to fade and then Backstreet released Black
& Blue and it gave them time to shine."

reports Nashville radio DJ Brian Krysz admitting to having a hard time
