the Backstreet Boys video for 'The Call.' Then they showed him with the
guy that plucks his eyebrows, a man who also does work for Gwen Stefani,

we've got I think about 6 songs in the can that we have demo'd already
that we think are pretty good, definitely album contenders. But we just
really want to experiment. We're looking out there for more music, we're
writing with some great, great writers and producers. We just want to let
the sky be the limits. We just want this definitely to be a slam, coming
back album that people will be like 'wow, we're glad to hear them back

AJ McLean personally, the sight of the cigarette-smoking, scruffy, heavily
tattooed, 'baddest' of the boy banders as a presenter at the wholesome
Genesis Awards (honoring animals and the people who work with them), seemed
like a mismatch. But last year, AJ, a devout animal lover, jumped at the
chance to introduce the touching film tribute to 9/11 search and rescue
dogs. Later this year AJ will lend his angelic singing voice to 'The Big
Fixx's Rock 'n Hole' concert and golf tournament to help raise money for
animal rescue efforts. He's already helped Harle, a Chihuahua-pug mix from
a shelter that didn't have the funding to house the dog for an extended

"Elnorte.com reviewed Nick Carter's concert in Mexico City. The reviewer
says, "If he would take a step, they'd scream, if he'd raise a hand, they'd
scream; if he'd say Mexico, they'd scream some more; and if he said 'my
girls of Mexico', then they'd break your ears, because for them, it was
seeing
Nick Carter now or never... In the 90 minute show that started at 9pm,
Nicholas Gene Carter performed songs from his solo album and three acoustic
versions of songs from the Backstreet Boys, some unheard songs and his
band mate even played 'La Cucaracha'. '¿Qué pasa México?
vamos con más música', he said at the beginning and with
a poor Spanish, although, he did promise later on that he'd promised the
last time he was here that he'd learn Spanish. The American had broken
the record of ticket selling in this venue when in two days he sold 1965
tickets in an hour and a half. The still member of BSB filled the place
not with young women but with throats that couldn't stop screaming and

"On February 21st, Nick Carter did an interview with Philadelphia radio
station Q102 at the start of his tour. He talked about how the Backstreet
Boys are looking to make a new sound with their new album. He says that
the media misinterpreted the reasons why the Backstreet Boys filed a lawsuit,
saying it was definitely not about Jive promoting Nick over the group.
He says it's being settled. He mentioned the other guys, confirming that
Brian Littrell is still married, AJ McLean is still single, and that Kevin
Richardson still loves trees. Logan asked him which artists he would do.
When asked about Britney Spears, Nick said, "Nah, not after what I've been

March 12, 2003 - Jim Harrington
of the Tri-Valley Herald reviewed the Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter's
solo show Sunday night in San Francisco. He writes, "Nick Carter wants
to be Christina Aguilera. He wants to be Justin Timberlake... Unfortunately,
the evidence provided at this concert didn't support this point of view.

come to a decision. If I'm not happy doing what I'm doing, and if I'm not
doing something that's real, then I'm not going to do it at all," he said.

an adventurous person, and I love challenges." Read more.
