April 28, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell was on PBS station KET on Friday (April 16) for a collection of public service announcements and celebrity interviews designed to educate Kentucky teens about the dangers of drinking and encourage participation in drug and alcohol free proms and graduation celebrations. Celebrities interviewed include Brian Littrell, Ashley Judd, and Tim Couch. His wife Leighanne and their son Baylee were with Brian on the 'Praise the Lord' show."

April 25, 2004 - A posting by 'ennuyee' at popbitch.com reports that on 'Simple Life 2', a member of the crew is claiming outtakes from the next season of the series feature a phone call between Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, during which Nick says he's worried she's cheating on him with her ex, model Jason Shaw, who just bought a house in her neighborhood. Paris tells Nick he has nothing to worry about, and gets annoyed that he'd think she'd cheat on him. After she hangs up, she immediately calls Jason Shaw, whining that that she doesn't know why Nick gets so jealous sometimes -- especially since Jason is the only guy she's cheating on him with, a fact she thinks shows great control on her part.

April 25, 2004 - Star magazine reports that while Paris Hilton films 'The Simple Life 2', the heiress has been warned by her boyfriend Nick Carter to keep away from the guys. "Nick has let Paris know he will not tolerate any nonsense while she and Nicole Richie are touring the countryside," a source said. The source adds that the Backstreet Boys star "doesn't want to be embarrassed."

April 19, 2004 - After their April Fools' day wedding, Bob Carter and wife Ginger Elrod put their marriage to a happy star. A family insider revealed, "Bob and Ginger have dropped the assault charges against Jane, hoping this will be a new beginning for all of them. Hopefully, they can finally live in peace." The wedding was attended by Bob's son Aaron Carter and daughter Angel, but Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter skipped the nuptials. Ex-wife Jane was none too pleased to learn about the wedding. "Jane was hoping to eventually get back with Bob, so when he said he wanted to marry Ginger, she went ballistic," an insider revealed.

April 14, 2004 - The New York Times profiled Backstreet Boys star Kevin Richardson's conversion of his 2004 GMC Yukon sport utility vehicle to run on compressed natural gas, a domestically produced fuel that is less polluting than gasoline. The conversion was done by Evo Transportation, a company started by two former entertainment industry executives, David Young and Seth Seaberg, costing the singer $10,000. "I didn't want to be a hypocrite anymore," said Richardson, who operates an environmental foundation called Just Within Reach. "I want to walk the walk if I'm going to talk the talk." April 4, 2004 - Not-Like-You.com reports Westlife's Mark Feehily mentions Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter in their current tour book. Asked what he does to keep from getting bored while on tour, Feehily responded, "Sometimes you get very hyper if you're all sitting together in a dressing-room all day long. Every now and again we might start a mad food-fight, and the dressing-room is covered in squashed banana and bits of chicken! One time we had a food-fight with Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys while we were on the same TV show in Germany. I don't know how it happened, but all of a sudden a cake came flying across the wall into our side of the dressing-room, and we were shouting, 'Where did that come from?' So we threw a cake back and suddenly the entire contents of both dressing-rooms were swapped around!
