March 29, 2005 - Dan Aquilante
of the New York Post reviewed the Backstreet Boys' concert at Irving Plaza
on Monday night (March 21). He writes, "The BSB harmonies were crisp during
a set centered on a greatest hits program that also included a few new
tunes that were getting a road test for an upcoming album." Aquilante added,
"Although this band will remain a guilty pleasure to many, and more than
a little cheesy to any self-respecting hipster, the fact is this is a band
that's gotten better, albeit a little grittier, with time." Read more.

March 29, 2005 - Tenley Woodman
of the Boston Herald reviewed the Backstreet Boys' concert at the Avalon
on Thursday night (March 24). Woodman writes, "Nick Carter, the band's
youngest member, still sings like the whining 13-year old he was when he
joined the group. His mike time is based on his blonde hair and blue eyes,
not his voice." Woodman suggested, "If the group wants to thrive in this
transitional period, they need to make McLean more of a front man. His

the new album. The shoot took place somewhere in the desert. It is not
known yet if this is the album cover, the Incomplete single cover, or just

reports that Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter is blaming ex-girlfriend
Paris Hilton for his recent drunken driving arrest. "He still hasn't got
over her. He begged her to get back together but she wanted to continue
playing the field," a friend said. While the heiress was playing the field,
Carter was allegedly hitting the bottle. Read more.

reports that the new Backstreet Boys single 'Incomplete' will go to radio
in two weeks, though some stations have already played leaked versions.
Meanwhile, the band will be embarking on their club tour, which kicks off

joked during his Late Late Show monologue on Monday night, "Backstreet
Boy Nick Carter was arrested for a DUI. Shooking, isn't it? Rock stars
being arrested for being drunk? Police say he was so drunk he couldn't
lip-synch the alphabet."

Press reports Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys was arrested last weekend
in Huntington Beach for alleged drunken driving, police said. "The officer
that stopped him noticed some traffic violation was occurring," police
Lt. Dave Bunetta said. "When he was contacted by the officers they conducted
an investigation which would include field sobriety tests and they formed
the opinion he was under the influence." Read more.

"Let’s compare Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and Limp Bizkit frontman
Fred Durst, shall we? Both are arrogant, egotistical, obese, slovenly,
disgustingly tattooed “musicians” (yes, I am using the term musician loosely).
They have both resorted to using other high profile celebrities for publicity
(i.e. Nick used Paris and Willa, Fred has used every female celebrity he
