April 26, 2005 - The Backstreet Boys brave all the elements in their next video, 'Incomplete', from rain and wind to fire and ice. The group shot the clip in Lancaster and Zuma Beach, California, racing from one location to another to take advantage of the fading sunlight. Director Joseph Kahn tells MTV News: "The whole complaint people have about boy bands is that they're artificial and slick, so I made this purposely dirty and with no safety nets. There's no emulation in the video, which means the look we're going for was contingent on the sun ... a logistical timing nightmare." Read more.

April 26, 2005 - The Backstreet Boys posted a message to fans on Wednesday (April 20), the 12th anniversary the boy band has been together. "We want to send a special thank you to all of you for supporting us through the years," the band's statement said. "Today is the 12th anniversary of us coming together as a group and it is because of you that we have been able to spend this time doing what we love. April 26, 2005 - E! reports that Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter pleaded innocent to two drunken driving-related charges Wednesday in an Orange County, California. The plea was actually phoned in by Carter's lawyer, according to Mark Macaulay, spokesman for the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Because the two counts were misdemeanors--one for driving under the influence and the other for driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.08--Carter was not required to show for the arraignment. The album will be called 'Never Gone' after a song that Kevin Richardson wrote about his father that appears on the album. The Backstreet Boys new album is scheduled to be released June 2005. The news was broke during the band's interview with Cleveland's 96.5 KISS FM on Tuesday (March 29) at not-like-you.com."

April 5, 2005 - The Chicago Sun-Times reports that while the Backstreet Boys were in the Windy City, they dined at Eli's the Place for Steak on Easter Sunday after watching the Michigan State-Kentucky game at the eatery's bar. They're normally closed for the holiday, but the owner's youngest daughter is a huge fan of the boy band, prompting the special treatment.
