Aztec reports that San Diego State School of Education lecturer Kathleen
Holowach, an avid C-SPAN watcher, recently got the chance to participate
in her favorite television series. Holowach won an essay contest on "Washington
Journal," a C-SPAN show she watches every morning and was chosen to recite
her poem, written to the lyrics of the Backstreet Boys' smash hit 'I Want
It That Way', on the air. Read more

minutes before they were due to perform to a sell-out crowd in Wembley,
Nick Carter and Brian Littrell from the Backstreet Boys took the time to
chat to Capital FM's Schooly on the phone. They talked about the excitement

of the London Evening Standard slammed the Backstreet Boys after the boy
band's concert at Wembley Arena Thursday (October 20) in London, England.
Aizlewood said the group were "an act in terminal, neglectful decline.
Their choreography was sloppy, their harmonies under-utilised and their
patter feeble: Nick Carter introducing 'Just Want You To Know with' 'does
anyone here know what "sphincter" means?' was neither big nor clever."

profiled Encore Hollywood's role in creating the Backstreet Boys' latest
video off the album 'Never Gone' entitled 'Just Want You to Know', which
the company was asked to do their worst job possible. Aiming to replicate
the look of a low budget rock documentary of the 1980s, artists devised
a number of clever digital tricks to artfully degrade, corrupt and decay
the look of the video. "The challenge was not in degrading the image; it
was to degrade it in a consistent manner," explained compositor Dan Aguilar.
"The video had to look bad in the same way from cut to cut." Read more.

writes "According to PerezHilton.com, Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter
and his brother Aaron Carter partied and even drank together duing some
brotherly
bonding at The Concorde in Los Angeles on Friday night. Nick's other date
was actress Bai Ling. Aaron was said to have had " two girls who looked
like they were on trim spa" on both of his arms."
