December 23, 2006 - Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter checked in with fans on his blog at Myspace on Monday (December 4), where the singer was "just chillin in Tampa." Carter writes, "Hello friend. What's crackin with you. I've been great. I decided to take a trip back to my home town and hang with some old buds. The past few months have been incredible, I've grown so much. Kind of scary. But anyways, I know its been a while since I last left you a message, so I figured I'd bring you up to date. I'm glad that you've showed so much support through these crazy months dealing with the show, the boys, my fam and myself. It's been fun though huh. Ok. So I'm basically gonna just chill for the month of December and decide what the new years gonna bring. As always, I'd like to have your idea on what you think should happen. November 20, 2006 - The Toronto Star caught up with Kevin Richardson, and asked the singer why he left The Backstreet Boys earlier this year. "I was at a point in my life when I wanted to examine some of the other things that go into making up Kevin Richardson," he responded. "You see, I'm not like a lot of other people in show business. I'm not what you'd call a multi-tasker. When I commit myself to something, I commit 100 per cent and that's what I did when I was a Backstreet Boy. But there were other aspects of my life, other dreams and desires that I was neglecting." Richardson insisted there's no resentment about his exit from his former bandmates. "No way. They totally understand where I'm coming from," K-Rich said. "There's no bad blood. It's all good. They're my little brothers and we have a lot of love for each other." Read more.

November 7, 2006 - In a tell-all interview with News of the World, Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter described his relationship with Paris Hilton. "She was a drunken prude who as far as I can see did not really like sex," the singer explained. "She relied on drugs and drink to give her confidence in the bedroom and was more often than not too wasted to even perform. I lost count of the nights I had to pick her off the floor and drag her to bed passed out." Carter added that the heiress "had to have her own private stash [of marijuana] with her at all times regardless of the consequences."
