September 15, 2003 - The Sunday Mail reports Keira Knightley is to set sail in the sequel to Pirates Of The Caribbean. Costar Johnny Depp is also lined up and Orlando Bloom is expected to sign on again. The movie has already made £300million and producer Jerry Bruckheimer said filming of the follow-up begins next year.

September 14, 2003 - In a recent interview with J14 Magazine Orlando Bloom was asked how he could handle all of his screen fighting roles (which include anything from playing an elf in LOTR to staring in Troy with Brad Pitt). With a laugh he said, "I'm rather accecident- prone," "I'v broken my back, my ribs, my nose, both my legs, my arm, my wrist,a finger,and a toe, and cracked my skull." he continued.

September 4, 2003 - The Mirror reports Holly Valance pulled out of presenting an award at the last minute at the GQ Man of the Year Awards in London because Orlando Bloom was unable to attend. Valance was meant to give the Bloom the Best Film Actor award for 'Pirates of the Caribbean', but he was busy filming 'Troy' with Brad Pitt. "Holly was told he wasn't going to be there and she didn't want to present an award to someone who couldn't make it," a source explained. "She was offered two other categories but decided against attending the event."

September 3, 2003 - Orlando Bloom has reportedly secured a new high- profile female fan - supermodel Helena Christensen. British tabloids are hinting the pair may be more than just friends after 34-year-old Helena - who has a three-year-old son with boyfriend Norman Reedus - photographed Orlando for a magazine, was then seen with him at the Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl premiere and then again at a party in London. A friend of the 26-year-old screen star tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "She clearly adores his company."
