August 29, 2002 - The Boston Herald reports Kid Rock and his fiancee, Pamela Anderson, were the toast of Provincetown yesterday where the couple cruised for sex toys, hit a tattoo parlor and ate oysters. "She was bouncing down Commercial Street in all her glory with her white dress on and her big hair flowing all over the place," blabbed an onlooker.

August 25, 2002 - Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun Times has more on Pamela Anderson holding out for big money to do a Baywatch reunion. ''Pam gets it that they can't really do the film without her," said an insider. "She's about the most famous, or at least infamous, female star who came out of that cast. ... Sure, there have been others like Yasmine Bleeth, but Pamela Anderson epitomizes what all that jiggling was about!"

August 21, 2002 - The London Star reports Pam Anderson has infuriated her 'Baywatch' alums by demanding scads of cash to appear in the reunion. She's demanded $500,000 for three days of work while other stars from the  drama had to take pay cuts to meet Anderson's demands.

August 20, 2002 - Getty Images had photos, since removed, of Pamela Anderson arriving and leaving the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday (August 19) after the child custody case against her former husband, musician Tommy Lee in Los Angeles, California.

August 18, 2002 - Craig Kilborn joked during his Late Late Show monologue Friday (in a repeat), "Man, did I have a nightmare of the last night I had a nightmare. I was in bed, I was dreaming I was in bed with Charlize Theron, in a nurse's uniform, Pamela Anderson in a maid's uniform and I'm in a Mets uniform. Terrible."

August 16, 2002 - Extra TV was there for the Tommy Lee - Pamela Anderson child custody case that has seen a gag order issued against the two bickering stars. Extra spoke with People magazine's Todd Gold who commented, "They have never been able to make up their minds whether they love each other or hate each other. Now, they still can't make up there minds over who should take care of the kids." Read more.

August 14, 2002 - Apparently there's a story in the tabloids this week that Pamela Anderson is dating Jim Carey, so Conan O'Brien's 'If They Mated' segment had a sample of what their kid would look like.

August 13, 2002 - Rolling Stone's Gavin Edwards spoke with The Vines frontman Craig Nicholls who commented on what cartoon character would you want to have sex with. "Pamela Anderson," he responded. "She is a cartoon, right?"

August 9, 2002 - Sum 41 guitarist Dave Baksh seems to be giving a hint at something when he told metal-sludge.com that he rated Pamela Anderson a '1' saying "heroin", while making the same "heroin" comment on a word association with Kid Rock.

August 8, 2002 - Pamela Anderson talked candidly about the abuse she suffered during her marriage to former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee on Wednesday morning's Today show. "He'd thrown us into a wall a 7-week-old baby Dylan, and I into a wall and he had a huge welt on his head and he just has a problem with alcohol and violence. And so it's just not safe at up his house," she said.

August 6, 2002 - Metal-Sludge.com has a great and candid 20 questions with MTV's Iann Robinson. Asked about Kid Rock, he commented, "Lucky bastard, he's rich and once he was done screwing porn stars and strippers he married Pam Anderson."

August 6, 2002 - Pamela Anderson gave a much different tune on her relationship status with Kid Rock to Entertainment Tonight from the Teen Choice Awards. Pam says, "No. We're doin' well. We're doin' fine." As for her ongoing battle with hepatitis C, she commented, "I'm not dying. I'm not limping around here a lovely shade of green or anything. While I'm young and healthy I want to treat it, and then I want to have more kids and get on with my life." Pam also says she wanted more kids, "Well, I have two now and a stepson, so I mean, bring 'em on. Once you have three, might as well have ten."

August 6, 2002 - Extra TV has a video clip highlighting last night's 'Teen Choice Awards' in Los Angeles. The clip shows Pamela Anderson talking about her troubled relationship with Kid Rock saying, "My kids come first and relationships are hard, especially in the business we are in." As for whether her and Tommy Lee's kids might end up in an 'Osbournes' type reality show, Pam said, "They're not going to be part of his reality show. You can count on that." Watch the clip here.

August 2, 2002 - Launch.com spoke with Tommy Lee who revealed he is currently engaged to girlfriend Mayte, who was once married to Prince. Lee says he's going to take his time before getting married this time around, after his much-publicized stormy relationship with ex-wife Pamela Anderson. "Getting married in four days was the biggest fu**in' mistake I've ever made," he admitted. "I have two beautiful kids, but that was retarded, OK? That was stupid. How can you know somebody in four days?...Bonehead."
