January 22, 2003 - Us Weekly quotes Pamela Anderson on the trials of being a working mother saying, "I just got off the phone with my crying 6-year-old, who, when I pleaded, 'I love you' on the phone, responded, 'I hate you till you get home.'"

January 18, 2003 - The Daily Star reports the impending marriage between Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson is in trouble after Pam ordered Rock to stop seeing ex-galpal Sheryl Crow. Even though Rock dumped Crow for her in 2001, Pam's insecurities have reached a fever pitch. A source said, "It's caused so much tension between Pam and Kid that Christmas was hell."

January 17, 2003 - A source tells the New York Daily News that now Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson have settled their child custody battle, the bad blood seems to have cooled off, and Kid Rock is getting jealous. "Tommy and Pam are getting along great," says a source, who claims that "Kid is totally jealous of how friendly they are." And when Rock found out Lee was scheduled to share the bill at VH1's Big in 2002 awards last month, the Detroit rap/rocker "threw a hissy fit," according to a source, who added, "He said he wouldn't be part of the show if Tommy was in the building. The VH1 execs didn't know what to do. They finally explained the situation to Tommy, who was a gentleman and bowed out."

They are, in order, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Lopez, and Avril Lavigne. January 12, 2003 - Us Weekly reports an insider at the fifth birthday for Pamela Anderson's son Dylan says things were rather chilly between her former husband Tommy Lee and current boyfriend Kid Rock. "Kid and Tommy didn't really speak to each other," the insider says. "Pamela had a way of strategically keeping them at opposite ends of the party at all times." Plus, Pam kept telling Rock that "this was Dylan's day, and she wanted it happy and fun."

January 9, 2003 - Pamela Anderson recently wore beaded necklaces on a Tonight Show appearance and her rep tells Us Weekly that they were made by her sons Bradon and Dylan. "The only jewelry she'd happily wear is that of her sons, the loves of her life," the rep said.

January 7, 2003 - IMDB.com reports Pamela Anderson has quit movies and TV to concentrate on bringing up her children.She is also concerned that too much work will aggravate her health problems. Anderson currently suffers from Hepatitis C. Anderson has banned television from her home to spend time reading to her two children. She says, "I'm on the next stage of my life. I don't want to be on TV or film ever again. Since I've retired, I've had more offers than you would believe." Her final screen appearance is expected to be in a big screen version of Baywatch, which was filmed in Hawaii in September last year. 

January 7, 2003 - Us Weekly reports Kid Rock recently went shopping with fiance Pamela Anderson at Ralph's supermarket in Malibu, California, where he treated the former V.I.P. star to VIP treatment. "He bags her groceries every time," a clerk said. "He's good at it too. Maybe he was a bag boy before he got famous!"

January 5, 2002 - Globe magazine reports Pamela Anderson busted up a fight between a teenage couple in a Los Angeles mall recently. The boy was yelling in the girl's face and even shoved her. When he threatened to push her again, Pam stepped up and yelled at him. Anderson got out her cell phone and announced she was calling the cops. The boy ran, and Pam consoled the crying girl telling her, "You can't take that kind of crap anymore. I just wish someone had told me that when I was young."
