January 30, 2004 - Some fans
have branded Pamela Anderson, a supposed animal rights supporter, a hypocrite
ever since she started wearing Ugg boots made of sheepskin. Apparently
she's had enough. The buxom one will introduce fake Uggs - a cruelty-free
version - at the Magic trade show in Las Vegas next month. "She felt awful
that the paparazzi had caught her in those pictures," PETA spokesman Dan
Mathews tells The New York Post. "She wanted to make a cruelty-free version
available. Live and learn."
January
26, 2004 - Us Weekly reports that Blu Cantrell is upset with former pal
Pink after she started dating Tommy Lee, even though she knew how much
Cantrell cared for the former Motley Crue drummer. Meanwhile, a source
close to Pamela Anderson confided to The Chicago Sun-Times that she is
still unhappy to be sharing Lee with Pink, even though she's been splitting
bedroom time with Lee and Kid Rock. "I know this sounds funny, considering
Pam's own unorthodox approach to her relationship with Tommy," the source
admitted, "but she really considers Pink a big sleaze and was really kind
of shocked she would supposedly snatch away a boyfriend from someone who
supposedly was a close friend." Cantrell, meanwhile, has told pals she
plans on winning back Lee.
January 22, 2004 - The Sun
reports Pamela Anderson has admitted she used to be teased for being flat
chested. "At school a boy poured water down my shirt, yelling, 'Now maybe
they’ll grow.' One nipple grew first. I thought it was cancer so I tried
to beat it back into my chest," she explained. "Then the other popped out
and they've been tearing through sweaters ever since."
January 22, 2004 - The Mirror
reports celeb fans Boy George and Pamela Anderson were both in the Bowery
Ballroom audience the other night for a hometown gig by New York's ultra-cool
Scissor Sisters. The band performed an hour-long set, including their new
single, 'Comfortably Numb', which is set to be the highest new entry in
the UK top 10 this Sunday.
January 19, 2004 - The New
York Post reports Pamela Anderson, Enrique Iglesias, Marilyn Manson, Tara
Reid, Tom Arnold and Jamie Foxx were spotted grooving to DJ Poet from Black
Eyed Peas at Hugh Hefner's Bel Air mansion.
January 14, 2004 - The New
York Post reports Pamela Anderson's future sexy novel, for which she's
already got a publisher, will definitely not take the high road. She will
furnish the experiences. She will provide plot and characters. (Also maybe
positions.) She will not write the thing.
January 7, 2004 - Photo editors
around the world have been enthralled with Pamela Anderson ever since she
slipped into her 'Baywatch' bathing suit. Marc Malkin, who has tracked
Anderson’s career for Us Magazine, says, "She has big blonde hair, she
hardly wears any clothing when she goes out, who doesn’t want a picture
of that? Pam has a love-hate relationship with the paparazzi." Watch a
video clip at Extra.
January 4, 2004 - The Mirror
reports Pamela Anderson has admitted she has never been a serious actress.
Anderson said, "A lot of the things I did were sending myself up, making
fun of my sex kitten image." Now she is working on a cookery program, and
promoting vegetarianism and awareness of her own illness, Hepatitis-C.
"I want to be known as something other than a not-so-great actress," she
says.
