March 1, 2004 - Pamela Anderson tells The Las Vegas Review Journal she "got roped into doing" that stripper pole performance for Elton John's 'The Red Piano' tour. She was doing a video shoot with David LaChappelle, the show's producer, when he said, "Hey, put this showgirl outfit on and swing around a pole; I'm going to put you in the Elton show." Anderson, who lends her voice to the 'Stripperella' cable show, has a whole new respect for pole performers. "It was a great workout; my legs killed me for weeks. They burned," she said.
