July 29, 2000 - Variety reports Rebecca Romijn-Stamos has been cast in the female lead role of Aurora in MGM's ``Rollerball'' update, set for a summer 2001 release.

July 22, 2000 - X-Men's first week gross of $54.5 million was the second-largest opening weekend ever in Fox's history behind Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.

July 19, 2000 - Rebecca was talked about again on Howard Stern today. He played the song Rebecca sang on the Prince tribute album, saying he was surprised how good she sounded on the track.

July 19, 2000 - Rebecca Romijn was on the Tonight Show last night. Jay Leno joked in the monologue that the 8 hours spent putting on her body paint was because horny guys took their own sweet time, though Rebecca countered that in fact 4 women were in charge of the job. They also joked about a recent Globe article entitled John Stamos' Lesbian Nightmare where they quote an unnamed friend saying he was concerned about it, though Rebecca said if it was true he'd say 3 words "get her over!" She said things were constantly sticking to her ass everywhere she sat she left blue, including toilets. Rebecca ended up partying drinking tequila after the final day of shooting and she ended up puking blue vomit.

July 17, 2000 - Apparently Howard Stern spent time with Rebecca and John Stamos during his vacation in California. Howard went to see the X-Men with the two of them. He told Robin Quivers that it was probably one of the best movies he's ever seen.

July 17, 2000 - Pagesix.com reports Rebecca and John Stamos were partying with Romijn's X-Men costars until 3 am at Scores in New York.

July 15, 2000 - John Stamos went to the X-Men premiere with Rebecca as well as David Copperfield and Amber Frisque. Stamos joked of the pariing "David and I are actually lovers, Rebecca and Amber are our beards." This caused the naive Frisque to ask "Beard? Huh?"

July 14, 2000 - eYada.com's Richard Johnson reports that Rebecca Romijn has already signed on for the next two sequels for the X-Men. She also revealed that 8 hours in a makeup chair turned her into an evil bitch. Incidently, they also report X-Men receives three stars from the NY Post and predict it will be a big hit.

July 14, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports that Rebecca looked slinky as always in a white blouse and jeans at the X-Men cast screening in Culver City.

July 14, 2000 - Rebecca Romijn confesses to TV Guide this week "When I was a teenager I was much taller and skinnier than all my friends, and I was really uncomfortable in my skin, I didn't want anything below my neck to even exist." In that light, she says her role as Mystique suits anyone who views themselves as an outcast.

July 5, 2000 - Rebecca Romijn was on ET tonight talking about her roll as Raven Darkholme. She says her costume had over 100 prosthetics and she had to wear yellow contacts, which blinded her during use.

June 29, 2000 - Rebecca commenting to the NY Daily News about her X-Men outfit "The paint was really sticky, a horrible feeling, and the fumes were very bad. So we were lighting candles every day to make it smell better," she admitted "At one point, I was looking everywhere for the matches. Then the costume women told me they were stuck to my butt! Everyone was laughing so hard."

June 22, 2000 - Our poll asking "Do you think Rebecca's rising professional success and John's falling success creates trouble in their marriage?" came in with 36.51% of you saying somewhat, and an even split of 31.75% saying none at all and definately, with 126 votes total.

June 21, 2000 - Rebecca Romijn is making headlines with her appearance in Maxim this month. She says she smoked her first joint at the age of 10. She also revealed her first sex dream was about Steve Martin, though her latest was about Liv Tyler, who she's never even met. Rebecca also says she danced in a strip club to research her role in The Last Boy Scout.
