The devoutly Mormon Marriott family stocks all hotels with a Book of Mormon along with the Gideon Bible, which in addition to the hotel being all-American, has turned some of the celebs away from staying there.

March 22, 2001 - The New York Post revealed that Ines Misan is coming clean about her relationship with Ricky Martin. Ines admits, "I'm not supposed to talk about this, but on a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give him a 20," adding "He's all man." Ines commented on Ricky's gay rumors by saying, "It's so untrue, it's like a joke. I wish every man were so gay." Martin's rep still insisted to the Post that the two were "just friends."

March 21, 2001 - Ricky Martin's speech before he introduced the late Ritchie Valens into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame; "It's very simple, ladies and gentlemen. Friends though worry Ines may be a goldigger after her bitter fallout with her millionaire ex-boyfriend John Lattanzio in 1997 where he asked for her to return $500,000 in cash and jewelry he'd given her after the two had made wedding plans.
