April 20, 2001 - Entertainment Tonight talked to Ricky Martin at the premiere of the show Storm at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and addressed the story that he would play Zorro on the London stage by calling it "a big lie."

April 19, 2001 - The Sun reports Ricky Martin is in final talks to star as legendary Mexican swordsman Zorro in a musical version of the classic.

April 19, 2001 - More details on Ricky's Zorro role as an insider tells Peoplenews.com, "It would undoubtedly be a big draw if he got the role. He’s said that he would like to go back to acting, although Zorro is probably not the most demanding role in the world."
