October 27, 2001 - Michael
Jackson put out a press release today announcing the lineup on his charity
single, 'What More Can I Give' after *NSYNC completed their part in the
song. On the lineup are as follows: NSYNC, Ricky Martin, Mariah Carey,
Carlos Santana, Celine Dion, Tom Petty, Beyonce Knowles of Destiny's Child,
Usher, Julio Iglesias, Reba McEntire, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, Luther
Vandross, Shakira, Brian McKnight, Gloria Estefan, Mya, Aaron Carter, Hanson,
Laura Palcini, John Secada, Billy Gilman, Ruben Blades, Anaida, Shawn Stockman
of Boyz II Men, Alejandro Sandz, Christian Castro, Olga Tanon, Anastascia,
Joy Enriquez, Juan Gabriel, Luis Miguel, Thalia, Ziggy Marley, and 3LW. The
artists recorded both English and Spanish versions of the song.

Ricky Martin almost lost his electronic organizer which not only included
phone numbers and addresses, but creit card info and private notes. Luckily,
a laundry that was dry cleaning one of his suits came up with the palm
pilot and a happy Ricky rushed to pick it up and insisted on giving the
cleaner a $300 reward.
October 21, 2001 - We've
gotten word of the lineup for Sunday's United We Stand: What More Can I
Give? Concert at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. The show will be broadcast
on Yahoo and on KIIS FM affiliates. Read more

Martin will be releasing a 'greatest hits' collection on November 13 which
will feature amongst his solo hits, as well as duets with Christina Aguilera

October 15, 2001 - Ricky
Martin recently explained his decision to cut off his own hair saying,
"One day I woke up and saw the clippers. I mediated... And I just cut it
right then and there. Mouths fell open."

has their list of top Ricky Martin related search terms posted for the
month of September. The term 'Ricky Martin' received 37,176 searches [one
word 'RickyMartin' query combined] which 'Ricky Martin gay' received 1031
searches as the singer still shrouds his sexuality in mystery. His notable
Latin competitor Enrique Iglesias received 22,230 searches last month.

came onto the Tonight Show last night to sign Jay Leno's Harley which is

October 9, 2001 - A
huge concert featuring the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Michael Jackson, Ricky
Martin, and others will be held October 21 at Washington, D.C.'s RFK Stadium.
The all-star benefit concert will aid the victims of the terrorist attacks

October 6, 2001 - NSYNC,
Backstreet Boys, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, and Madonna herself will
be amongst the acts on pLATINum rhythm, due October 30 on Maverick Musica,
