March 25, 2004 - Anonymous writes "MTV Latin American named Ricky Martin as the most successful crossover artist in Latin America, that has opened the doors for the young wave of latin pop singers. Enrique Iglesias came second, for being the most talented of the crossovers. Then Shakira and Paulina Rubio, the first one for being the most successful female, and the second for being the first Mexican crossover. Thalia did not made the list and was named the worst crossover out of all, and was called the unofficial mexican edition of Jennifer Lopez. She only sold 180.000 albums in USA and only have a million worldwide."

March 11, 2004 - Sertab Erener, one of the most popular and acclaimed female vocalists in Turkey has set her sights upon Europe, introducing her first English language album 'No Boundaries'. "It was the first experience that I sang an English song, with Ricky Martin," she told Reuters, refering to their 'Private Emotion' duet. "It was great, but I couldn't sing first in one hour. They told me a Celine Dion story. That was the vocal coach. He told me that Celine first time she couldn't sing, it was like you. And don't worry, you can sing." Check out the entire feature here.

March 11, 2004 - After a surprise offer from Fuse Music Network and KOCH Records, William Hung has accepted a recording contract and video production deal with the two companies. Hung will release a full-length record, tentatively titled 'The True Idol,' on KOCH/FUSE Records on April 6th. The anticipated release will include Hung's signature rendition of 'She Bangs,' as well as another Ricky Martin hit, 'Shake Your Bon Bon' and Elton John's 'Rocket Man'. The initial run of the CD will include an exclusive 40- minute DVD bonus featuring behind-the-scenes of Hung's studio recording sessions, scenes from a "day in the life" with William and fan question and answer commentary.
