May 31, 2004 - Primera Hora
reports Ricky Martin returned to demonstrate his sensitivity to children
by donating close to $200,000 for the building of a school in Aibonito
for special education. The school, Llanos Carretera, will be given to 81
patients of the "Ricky Martin Center" in Aibonito, that will belong to
the family of SER. "This is an honor for me. I do not do it for recognition.
I do it because it is born in me," Martin said. Read more here

28, 2004 - The Associated Press reports Ricky Martin has launched a campaign
against sexual exploitation and the trafficking of children in the world.
The 32-year-old singer presented a series of TV ads Thursday in which he
speaks on the subject in Spanish, English and Portuguese. They are to be
aired soon in the United States, Puerto Rico and other Latin American countries.

May 9, 2004 - The Associated
Press reports Ricky Martin's former manager has filed a $63.5 million lawsuit
against the singer for breach of contract. Angelo Medina claims the 32-year-old
pop star failed to live up to terms agreed upon when they ended their contract
in September. Medina claims he was to have continued managing Martin's
career in Puerto Rico but not internationally, but the singer broke all

Music Awards at the Miami Arena on Thursday (April 29) in Miami, Florida.

of E! Online reports Ricky Martin and Rebeca de Alba were spotted at El
Rancho Grande in South Beach, Florida. Sweaty fans went berserk over Ricky,
who was sporting a loose-fitting shirt.
April 10, 2004 - The New
York Post reports Ricky Martin was eyed chatting on his cellphone on the
steps of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel at Time Warner Center, where the singer
owns a $10 million pad.
