Martin swapped his leather trousers for somber suit on Wednesday (October
20) as he met with diplomats at the United Nations to persuade governments
to do more to combat child sex trafficking. "It's just the need for me
to leave a message out there about this horrific, nightmare that millions
and millions of children from all over the world live with on a day to

Secretary Michael Garcia in which they announced their joining of forces
to fight Child Violence, Sexual Tourism and Child Slavery, at the United

that Ricky Martin visited the United Nations headquarters in New York City
to make an emotional appeal for international help in the fight against
global child sex tourism. "We have to scream this issue. There's a lot
of people in denial out there and even the victims do not know that they
are victims," Martin said. "This is organized crime." Read more.

Martin met with his former manager Angelo Medina for a press conference
at the San Juan District Court on Wednesday (October 13) in San Juan, Puerto
Rico. Martin and Medina reached an undisclosed agreement where they would
drop their respective lawsuits against each other. On February 2004, Martin
filed a claim for $2.4 million against Medina, which he replied with a
