Griffin was on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on Tuesday night where
she recalled an awards show she did one time and needed someone to do an
opening bit with. "So I came up with this bit where I was going to have
a a lover's quarrel with some big male star, and at the end of it we would
make out," she explained. "So, at first I picked Ricky Martin. And I had
to, you know, pitch it to like the Ricky Martin people. And
I said, 'Look, I want to do this thing with Ricky, and we're going to make
out at the end. And the audience will go crazy and it wouldn't, you know,
kill Ricky to be seen kissing a a woman. [Laughter] Allegedly, allegedly.
All right. So anyway, then Ricky didn't want to do it for some reason..."
Griffin added that Snoop Dogg, who appeared on the show earlier, also turned
down the offer.

writes "Ricky Martin hosted the Godiva charity dinner on Friday (November
19) at Cheff Allen's in Aventura, Florida with Jody Lang, the lucky lady
who won the dinner on eBay auction, paying $47,200. The money go to "People
for Children Foundation" that fights exploitation of children, with a focus

November 15, 2004 - The New
York Post reports Ricky Martin took advantage of Caresse Henry's services
being available after Madonna dumped her as manager last week. Martin had
been without a manager since parting ways with Benny Medina earlier this
month. Henry is said to be excited about her new client as, "he has a new
album coming out, is planning a tour and has a lot of movie and television
potential. Madonna wasn't doing anything." Read more.
November 15, 2004 - Ricky
Martin's people are considering suing Handprint Entertainment, Benny Medina's
management company, over the comments Handprint co-owner Jeff Pollack made
to The New York Daily News' Lloyd Grove. Martin's PR rep, Ken Sunshine,
said, "A confidentiality agreement prevents us from giving any details
on financial arrangements between Ricky Martin and Handprint Entertainment,
and all we can say is that the information given is false." Read more.
November 15, 2004 - Handprint
Entertainment co-owner Jeff Pollack tells The New York Daily News that
he and business partner Benny Medina cut their relationship with Ricky
Martin after his reps suggested a reduction in Handprint's whopping $50,000-a-month
management fee. "There was just too much opportunity cost," Pollack said,
adding that "Ricky is a great guy - this is not to disparage him." Read

of Sky News reports that Ricky Martin has written a novel based on his
experiences as a pop superstar. "I think it will open people's eyes to
how some have made it big in the world of pop," the singer revealed to
a spy. "I also hope it will be made into a film at some point."
