March 26, 2000 - A huge 16x20 autographed picture of Ricky is up for auction on eBay taken during a 1999 trip in New York, taken just before his memorable appearance on the Today show. The auction ends March 30 and carries a hefty opening bid of $180, which has no takers yet.

March 22, 2000 - We're getting advanced word on Ricky's interview with Bah-bwah, where he is said to have replied to the is he question by saying "Sexuality and  homosexuality should not be a problem for anybody. I respect people the way they are, just as I want people to respect me." March 15, 2000 - As we bounce the is he or isn't he theories back and forth, the National Enquirer is out today saying Ricky's latest love actually is his makeup artist Maital Sabban. Apparently Sabban's mother, Nava, is very pleased with the situation, saying "I've never seen my daughter happier" and that "Ricky's a wonderful boy."

March 13, 2000 - The highly controversial groupiecentral.com is running a blistering piece on the Grammys and Ricky is spared no expense as they comment on Ricky going to the Grammys with makeup artist Maital Sabban by saying "Ricky has said George Michael is one of his idols. You got that right, Ricky. George used to "date" his makeup artist too before he came out of the closet." [ouch, and we though we were pissing people off with our commentary!]

March 11, 2000 - Ricky Martin was destroyed in today's MTV Video Feuds, getting a worse than Alan Keyes vote of 2% versus 3% for Latin rival Enrique Iglesias, 38% by the Backstreet Boys, and a whopping 57% for teeny bopping favorite, 'N Sync.

March 2, 2000 - e! online's Ted Cassablanca is reporting that Ricky Martin had a temper tantrum when a fan attempted to take a photo of him during his Grammy rehearsals. Problem was, Ricky didn't have on his makeup yet. According to Ted, Ricky "threw down the microphone, stomped offstage and had to be coaxed back sometime later to finish up."

February 24, 2000 - Ricky Martin performs in the 2000 Grammy Awards, although his self titled album lost out in Record of The Year to Santana. [so who was the woman with Martin? We hear it's his makeup artist Maital Sabban]
