You can vote at VH1.com until the moment of the award being announced.

October 29, 2000 - Ricky Martin is featured in a pair of ebay auctions. The first, item #478960557, features the singer in a set of 12 stamps, bid at $9 and ending today. The other, item #481675046, is an autographed photo bid at $18.99 and ending November 3rd.

October 28, 2000 - Ricky told Australian fans during his recent Livin La Vida Loca Tour downunder that he will be back in Australia in 2001 to do a tour for his upcoming album "Sound Loaded".

October 28, 2000 - Ex Van Halen rocker Sammy Hagar is saying kind words about pop stars to the surprise of many. He says, "You're going to think I'm crazy for saying this, but I dig the pop scene. I like the whole glamour and the show. I like the professional sparkle of it all. I like *NSYNC, Ricky Martin, Backstreet Boys, and the list goes on. Those people are real stars, and they are real professional at what they do."

October 27, 2000 - Ricky Martin pulled out of the ARIA Awards where he was scheduled to present an award because he felt he was snubbed by not being allowed to play at the event according to sources at Sony. A local Australian industry insider told Worldpop, "Who cares. We don't need them. This is a night for Australian music."

October 25, 2000 - Thirsty.com reports that Ricky Martin's top button of his Armani pants flew off during a performance, partially exposing his rear end. The red-faced Martin had to yank his pants up in the meantime.

October 12, 2000 - In an Abstracts.net poll asking if they thought Ricky Martin ever be able to eclipse US record sales achieved with his first self titled English album, 83.1% said yes, 16.9% no, with 172 total votes.

October 9, 2000 - Ricky Martin speaks of his underwater singing in She Bangs, "I had to mime underwater without bubbles coming out of my mouth. It's been pretty interesting, and I've learned a lot of things."

October 9, 2000 - Ricky Martin is alledgedly wearing styrofoam butt pads to get a tighter and rounder rear end, and he's also hiring a personal trainer to help round his butt, and if that doesn't work, he may get butt implants, according to Ellen K of Dees Sleaze.
