October 31, 2001 - Salma Hayek was at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards where she commented on the latest terror attack alert saying, "You just deal with it, you know. You are careful, but at the same time, you try to live your life very fully and be very grateful for the things you have."

October 27, 2001 - Salma Hayek talked to Glamour about her role in 'Frida' admitting it wasn't a typical glamorous role she's used to. "It's hard to make a movie about a woman who had a mustache and was a cripple,"she said , "and where the leading man is fat and ugly!" But Hayek insisted on the role adding, "It's something I'm in love with and truly believe in. It's a story about my people, and it was important for me to tell it."

October 23, 2001 - The New York Daily News reports Salma Hayek and Ed Norton attended a Concert for New York after-party at the West Side hotel in a celebrity filled party that ran until 4 a.m.
