August 31, 2002 - Reuters reports Mexican actress Salma Hayek glowed with satisfaction on Friday after the world premiere of "Frida," the film she fought for seven years to make. The movie, which opened the 59th Venice Film Festival to a standing ovation.

Salma revealed, "Edward has written many times, but he never gets the credit for it. At the end there was no money and I had become unbearable. I don't know how he could bear me for all that time. I was crying in my office at my house and Edward sneaks up on me. He knew it was pressure time with Frida. I said, 'Would you be Rockefeller in the film?' and he said, 'I'll be Rockefeller and I'll write the script.'"
